Bishop Shanahan ended Hatboro-Horsham's district run on Tuesday night with a three set sweep. Bishop Shanahan truly embodies one of the most successful combinations of a dominating offense with a scrappy and controlled defense, as well as solid serve receive game. Hatboro-Horsham was able to get some leverage in sets 1 and 3, but not enough to outscore Bishop Shanahan.

Junior Outside Hitter Katerina Yankanich led the offense with 11 kills, 1 ace, 1 block and 11 digs. Senior Outside Hitter Holly Owen added 9 kills, 1 ace, and 6 digs. Freshman Middle Hitter MaryKate Scully added 2 kills and 3 blocks. Senior Libero Allison Laucella had 12 digs on the night. Junior DS's Maddie Kallmeyer and Megan Barrella both added 2 aces a piece to the mix. Sophomore setter Rachel Dittus ran the offense with 22 assists and added 5 digs.

Hatboro-Horsham takes on Avon Grove for the 5th state bid playback tournament away at 7 PM on Thursday.
