Once again, it was a classic crosstown match between CB South and CB East, with South prevailing 3 sets to 1. The Patriots received contributions from athletes across the board. Mia Mettille (27 assists, 3 kills, 3 aces, 3 digs, 2 blocks) had a great all around match. On offense, the balanced attack was led by Catie Tomlinson (10 kills, 8 digs, 1 ace), Sophia Schwartz (8 kills), and Regina Mathur (4 kills, 7 digs, 1 ace). Arya Haridas (17 digs, 2 aces) anchored the defense, along with Abi Zmuda (6 digs, 2 aces). In addition, the Fab 3 Freshmen of Ali Minacci (6 kills, 3 blocks, 2 digs), Summer Darling (5 kills, 1 dig) and Brynne Vonder Schmalz (3 aces, 1 dig) all made meaningful contributions.
