On Monday, the Lady Hatters fought a tough battle against CB East losing in five sets: 26-24, 25-18, 24-26, 17-25, 14-16. Senior Sam Jones dominated on offense with 20 kills, while junior Cassidy Quattro added five kills, senior Dymond Black added four kills as well as two blocks. Senior Candyce Riley dished out 31 assists and also added three aces. Sophomore Allison Laucella and junior Christine Ruffin also served three aces. Jones also led the defense with 28 digs, and senior Rachel DeMarco and Laucella both had nine digs.

East's defense was anchored by Erin Lane with many outstanding digs.
