“It’s a disappointing way to end the season.” Said South Head Coach Kurt Godfrey “We’ve played these guys so tough all season long and tonight West just edged it out. Both these teams know each other really well and it’s always an intense match when we see them. A few points the other way and we have a different outcome. Good luck to West in the rest of their season.”

“I couldn’t be any prouder of my seniors. They truly stepped up this season and really pulled this team together. This group is incredibly special to me. They are the first group that I’ve had all four years of their high school career. I’m so proud of how all of them have grown as Volleyball players and we are going to miss all of them tremendously next year. I wish them success in whatever they choose to do next and hope they come back to visit and cheer us on.”

“As for our underclassmen, they have huge shoes to fill and I hope we start working right now to come back better next season! I know they are up for the challenge and want nothing more than another shot at the playoffs next year!”
