QUAKERTOWN 3, NORTH PENN 0 (25-22, 25-15, 25-12)
The Panthers hosted their sixth annual Dig Pink match and also celebrated Senior Night with a win over the Maidens. Senior captains Jen Stern and Amanda Pursel led the way in the team’s best-played match of the season. Sterner had a huge night at the service line, delivering 10 aces to go along with 15 assists and four kills. Pursel had six kills and nine digs. Haley Sheehan had five kills and eight digs and Katelyn Spieker had five kills. Shiann Alpha had four kills and four blocks. Kerry Vanyo had six assists and one ace. Erica Schmidlechner had seven digs and one ace.
PENNRIDGE 3, CENTRAL BUCKS SOUTH 0 (25-23, 25-14, 25-18)
With three league matches remaining, the Lady Rams clinched at least a share of the Continental Conference title with their win over the Titans. Steph Judkins led the Rams at the net with 15 kills to go along with two aces. Victoria Jones had eight kills, Lauren Drugotch, six kills and Ariana Pryzbylowski, four kills. Setter Meghan Keefe had 31 assists. Kelly Bergen led the defense with 14 digs to go along with two aces, and Ana Vitantonio had five digs and two aces.
The Rams can clinch sole possession of first place with a win over visiting Souderton on Wednesday when they will celebrate Senior Night.
WILLIAM TENNENT 3, NESHAMINY 1 (25-16, 27-25, 19-25, 25-16)
The Panthers gutted out a win over the Redskins despite the loss of their senior libero to an injury when Maddie Richard left the match with an apparent ACL sprain in the third set. Senior captains Amber Wood and Jaime Bonner are already sidelined with season-ending injuries.
“I am scared to name anyone else a captain at this point,” coach Brian Bassler said.
Stepping in for Richard was freshman Steph Woolston.
“She played really well defensively in the fourth set,” Bassler said.
The Panthers’ coach credited Cadey Weir, Alexandria Dakota Koppany and Ariel Goldberg for their strong serving. Sydney Turgyan and Lindsey Snock led the way at the net with eight kills each.
“Alexandria really spread the ball around,” Bassler said. “We had six different people with four kills or more. It was nice to see the girls continue to battle adversity. Some of the younger girls are gaining confidence.”
UPPER MERION 3, PLYMOUTH WHITEMARSH 0
Niki Carpenter turned in a dominant performance at the net, delivering 11 kills and five block kills plus a service ace. Eryn Brady added seven kills. Carlye Odorisio and Kailyn McNamee combined for eight aces, and Ashley Shannon contributed 16 digs and several assists. Odorisio also had 21 assists.
The win raised Upper Merion’s record to 12-2 as the Lady Vikings remain in first place in the conference with a 9-1 record. Upper Merion will host Norristown on Wednesday night.
ABINGTON 3, NORRISTOWN 0 (25-17, 22-25, 25-18, 25-10)
Leah Simmons had a team-high 18 kills to go along with six blocks and also added four digs. Carley Cooper added 10 kills, 11 digs, three aces, two blocks and one assist. Claire Gassman had nine kills, four aces, one block and two digs. Senior setter Sarah Donahue dished out 32 assists and a team-high five aces. Jamie Kidd had 10 digs.
HATBORO-HORSHAM 3, WISSAHICKON 0 (25-15, 25-12, 25-22)
The Hatters used a team effort to sweep the Trojans in three sets. The offense was led by senior Sam Jones and junior Cassidy Quattro with seven kills each. Senior Alexa Kennedy added five kills. Senior Candyce Riley dished out 11 assists while Jones and junior Christine Ruffin added five each.
CENTRAL BUCKS WEST 3, SOUDERTON 0 (25-20, 25-23, 25-23)
The Bucks celebrated Senior Night by recognizing seniors Taylor Blanton, Mimi Devier, Ashley Juliano and Kelly MicKinstry. They added to the celebration by sweeping the Indians in three hard-fought sets. McKinstry (two aces, three kills and 26 digs) and Juliano (two aces, two kills, eight digs) made important contributions as did Sophia Videva (six kills, one ace, one block), Kayla King (four kills, one ace, 17 assists, seven digs), Julia Schweibenz (five kills, one ace, seven digs) and Katie Hudson (four kills, one ace).
The Indians were led defensively by Savannah Bostwick (26 digs) and Miranda Baronett (nine digs). Setter Cori Watson had 25 assists. Megan Freed (seven kills, six digs), Alexa Spause (six kills, five digs), Monica Miller (five kills), Megan Pirtle (five kills, two blocks) and Melissa Gould (five kills) also made important contributions.
The Indians (4-8) will travel to Pennridge on Wednesday.
STRATH HAVEN 3, CENTRAL BUCKS EAST 1
Monday’s non-league match against Strath Haven was tight all four sets, according to coach Scott Geller.
“The girls have risen to my challenge in competing with the stronger teams in our district,” the Patriots’ coach said. “Looking forward to what the next couple of weeks have in store.”

In pool play, the Indians split their match with Downingtown East (25-20, 16-25) and dropped their matches against Fleetwood (12-25, 16-25), Pennsbury (16-25, 25-27) and Exeter (16-25, 20-25).
The Indians were led defensively by the 33-dig effort of Savannah Bostwick. Miranda Baronett had 12 digs. Megan Freed led the Indians at the net with 16 kills to go along with 17 digs. Megan Pirtle (six kills, two blocks, two aces), Melissa Gould (six kills, eight digs, two aces), Hannah Fairweather (three kills, two blocks) and Monica Miller (five kills) also made contributions at the net. Lauren Hamilton had 28 assists.
