Abington 14, Council Rock South 5
The streaking Ghosts picked up their 11th consecutive win when they travelled to Council Rock South Friday. Cameron Leech led the Ghosts with an impressive seven-goal, two-assist performance. John Wink added a hat trick while Joey Lomady had two goals and two assists. Hunter Jones had a hand in four goals, scoring one and assisting on three others. Jack Kurtz had one goal and one assist.
Freshman goalie Connor Reed turned away 17 shots in a superb outing.
Coach Peter Burns acknowledged the Ghosts’ strong defensive effort led by senior Brian Nolan, senior Ryan Fetzer and sophomore Joe Lindley.
Sam Presley had a hat trick to lead the Golden Hawks.

North Penn 15, Pennridge 10
The Knights exploded for seven goals in the second quarter, erasing a 3-2 Pennridge advantage after one quarter to go into halftime on top 9-4. They never trailed the rest of the way.
Nine players figured into the scoring for the Knights. Zack McKelvie (two goals, three assists) had a five-point night to lead a balanced attack while Scott Keffer had three goals and one assist. Luke Homan (two goals, one assist), Jake Diamond (one goal, one assist), Sawyer Koch (one goal, one assist) and Collin Water (two goals) all had a hand in multiple goals. Contributing single goals were Eric Diamond, Matt Schultz and Jake Hughes.
Trevor Bickel was credited with 11 saves in a winning effort in goal for the Knights.

Hatboro-Horsham 7, Central Bucks West 5
Goalie Kurt Dick turned away 19 shots in a standout effort, preserving a hard fought win for the visiting Hatters. The Hatters led 3-2 after one quarter, but the Bucks shut out their visitors in the second quarter, knotting the score 3-3 at halftime. The Hatters returned the favor in the third quarter, outscoring the Bucks 3-0 and then holding on for the win.
Pierre Armstrong led the Hatters’ attack with three goals and one assist. Conor McPoyle and Logan Eldridge both added a goal and an assist while Owen Winters and Bryan Remailey each added single goals.
For the Bucks, Morgan Kratzke had a pair of goals. Clark Hawes, Will Ross and Joey Rockovich each added one goal and one assist.
West goalie Steve Hogan turned away 11 shots. West senior Luke Durkin won 10-of-16 face-offs.

UPPER MORELAND 13, CHELTENHAM 3
The visiting Golden Bears opened up a 6-0 lead after one quarter and took a 10-1 lead into halftime on their way to the win.
For the Panthers, Thomas Hipwell contributed a goal and won 6-of-8 face-offs. Antonio Ringgold had a goal and an assist while Thomas Lenartowicz also had a goal. Erek Cunningham had one assist and five ground balls. Panther goalie David Friedman had 11 saves.

Girls
Central Bucks South 11, Pennsbury 9
The Titans rebounded from their loss to Souderton Thursday to defeat the Falcons in a key SOL National Conference battle.
Freshman Kasey Dietzel (two goals, three assists) led the Titans with a five-point game. Courtney Dietzel added a hat trick while Sarah Poli and Kristen Berntsen both had two goals and one assist. Tori Wigand added a single goal.
For the Falcons, Missy Frankil had three goals while Anna Cruser added two goals and one assist. Morgan Snyder contributed a pair of goals. Lindsay Labiak and Lily Nolan both added one goal.
South goalie Erin Putnam was credited with seven saves in a winning effort. Pennsbury’s Kayla Kunde had eight saves.
Upper Dublin 11, West Chester East 9
The Flying Cardinals raced to an 8-3 halftime lead on their way to a non-league win at West Chester East.
Julie Cross led the Cards with four goals and four assists, and the senior standout dominated the draw, finishing with 10 draw controls. Lindsey Schreiber added three goals and Maddie Templeton, two goals. Caroline Wall and Paige Lawton both had one goal while Hannah Reape had a pair of assists.
In a winning effort in goal, Sarah Gallagher was credited with 10 saves.

Plymouth Whitemarsh 10, Lower Merion 6
Winning the draw and hustle were the keys to Friday’s non-league win for the Colonials, who received stellar outing in goal from Emily Miller. The Colonials’ goalie turned away nine of 10 shots she faced.
PW led 5-3 at halftime, and the two teams duplicated that score in the second half.
Maddie Berman led the PW offense with four goals while Sophie Kolkka had a hat trick. Kirsten Monte (two goals, two assists) and Ali Diamond (one goal, three assists) both had four-point days for the Colonials.
