The Owls remain the SOL’s lone undefeated squad, improving to 5-0 after shutting out the visiting Spartans in a non-league game. Dominic Grady, Nick Fossile and Damon Lavender combined for the three-hit shutout.

SOUDERTON 4, UPPER DUBLIN 2
The Indians scored a pair of runs in the fifth inning to break a 2-2 tie. That turned out to be the difference in the game as the Indians’ relievers stymied the visiting Cardinals over the final four innings.
David Gulibon’s RBI single in the fifth turned out to be the game winner for the Indians, who held a 10-4 advantage in hits. Luke Shank led the Indians with a 2-for-2 effort that included a pair of doubles and a run scored. In addition to Gulibon, Conlan Wall, Jordan Morales and Hogan Despain each added an RBI.
An interesting side note was the fact that Souderton starter – Conlan Wall – is the son of Upper Dublin coach Ed Wall. In three innings, the sophomore hurler allowed two hits and two runs (one earned) while striking out four and walking two. He was not involved in the decision.
Andrew Curran threw two scoreless innings in middle relief and earned the win, allowing two hits, fanning four and walking three. Blaise Sclafani, who notched a save, did not allow a hit in two scoreless innings to close it out. He struck out three and did not walk a batter.
Souderton (5-1, 2-0 SOL) will host North Penn on Monday, and Upper Dublin (1-4, 1-3) will travel to Springfield Township on Monday.
