SOUDERTON 5, ABINGTON 0
The Indians controlled play from start to finish in Friday’s non-league game, opening up a 2-0 halftime lead and never looking back.
Courtney Kenah (Anna Gwiazdzinski assist) put the Indians on the scoreboard, and the Indians led 2-0 after Grace Dethomsa converted a penalty stroke.
Lauren Kenah opened the second half scoring with a goal that was assisted by Gwiazdzinski and Courtney Kenah. Then it was Randi Hess connecting on an unassisted goal. Gwiazdzinski used assists from Hess and Jenna Hunsicker to score the game’s final goal.
Souderton held a decided advantage in shots (19-3) and corners (12-0).
Souderton (7-1, 4-1 SOL) will host Quakertown on Monday at 7 p.m., and Abington (5-3, 5-1) will be on the road at Cheltenham on Monday.

WISSAHICKON 2, WILLIAM TENNENT 0
Hannah Havrilla and Grace Ball proved to be a winning combination for the Trojans on Friday. Havrilla scored with a Ball assist late in the first half to send the Trojans into halftime with a 1-0 lead. With 16:07 remaining in the second half, Havrilla returned the favor, assisting on a Ball goal for the 2-0 final.
Meghan Reilly recorded the shutout without making a save. William Tennent goalie Sophia Tiozzi recorded eight saves.
Wissahickon (3-3, 2-3 SOL) will be on the road at Upper Moreland on Monday, and William Tennent (1-6, 1-5) will host Harry S Truman on Monday.

HAVERFORD 3, PLYMOUTH WHITEMARSH 2
The Colonials suffered their first loss of the season, spotting the Fords a 3-1 halftime lead and spending the rest of the game playing catch-up.
“PW and Haverford played a physical and competitive contest this afternoon,” PW coach Charise Halteman said. “Haverford got on the board first after a defensive breakdown by PW.”
The Colonials responded quickly with a goal from Kayla Link during corner play, but the Fords closed out the half with a pair of goals. The Fords did not score in the second half, but the Colonials would get no closer than one, thanks to a goal by Kaleigh Missimer.
“(We were) only able to score one despite putting high pressure on Haverford’s defenders,” Halteman said.
Plymouth Whitemarsh (9-1, 6-0 SOL) will travel to Hatboro-Horsham on Monday.

SPRINGFIELD TOWNSHIP 5, CHELTENHAM 0
The Spartans led 1-0 at halftime, thanks to a Kate Wojeck goal. In the second half, Maddie Yoder went to work, reeling off four straight goals in an inspired offensive performance. Two were unassisted. Charlotte Henry and Anya Kochanowicz each had an assist.
Cheltenham goalie Nimi Bodojoko turned away 17 shots in a busy afternoon.
Springfield Township (6-2, 4-2 SOL) will travel to Upper Dublin on Monday, and Cheltenham (0-5) will host Abington on Monday.
