SOL National Conference
PENNRIDGE 10. NORTH PENN 7
The Rams continue to save their best for last, once again staging a second half comeback. This one wasn’t nearly as dramatic as Tuesday’s 5-0 fourth quarter outburst that erased a four-goal deficit in the Rams’ 10-9 win over Souderton.
On Thursday, the Rams trailed the Knights 4-1 at halftime and by only one entering the final period. They outscored the Knights 9-3 in the second half on their way to the hard fought conference win.
“I thought North Penn was really well coached and got a standout effort from their defense and goalie,” Pennridge coach JP Banks said. “I think we were very aggressive in our ride and gave our offense a lot of great opportunities.
“We played well early but shots didn’t fall. We just kept at it, kept the pressure on and capitalized on our chances in the second half.”
Chris Fanelli (3 goals, 2 assists) and Ryan Carickhoff (3 goals, 1 assist) led the Rams. Tom Hart had a pair of goals, Jack Lenox added a goal and two assists and Jake Stranix contributed a goal and an assist.

Matt Kuhn came up big in goal for the Knights, turning away 17 shots. Kieran Banks had another strong outing in goal for the Rams, recording 12 saves in the win.
