Hits were hard to come by for both squads in Tuesday’s district final.
The Lions managed just three, and MaSt had only one but put six runs on the board.
MaST led 5-0 after three innings, and the Lions put their first and only run on the board in the top of the fourth. Kaylee Harris, who singled to lead off the frame, scored when Jackie Herbert lined a two-out double to center field.
New Hope-Solebury closed out its season with a 3-16 record (2-14 SOL).

Villa Maria took the suspense out of this one early, exploding for 11 second inning runs on its way to a mercy rule win of the Spartans.
The Spartans – who were without Ashley Schulz due to an injury – scored their only run in the top of the third when Kayla Parsons hit an RBI triple.
Springfield Twp closed out its season with a 10-11 record. The Spartans were 7-9 in league play.
