CENTRAL BUCKS SOUTH 55, HARRY S TRUMAN 28
The Titans raced out of the gate to a 14-1 lead after one quarter and extended that to 33-12 by halftime on their way to the decisive win over the visiting Tigers.
“Our team did a great job with our defense,” South coach Louie Ditri said. “After a tough loss versus CB East last night, the players came focused and ready to play, which showed in our defensive play.
“Offensively, we have been inconsistent this year, and fortunately, today was one of our better days.”
Ben Harrison was a catalyst in the Titans’ big first half scoring 15 of his game-high 18 points before the break with eight of those coming in the opening quarter.
No other Titan reached double figures in a contest that saw 10 players put their names in the scoring column.
Also for the Titans, Brett Barrett added eight points, and Alex Shahin had seven.
For the Tigers, Adul Diallo led the way with 11 points.
Central Bucks South (6-12, 4-8 SOL) will host Central Bucks West on Tuesday, and Harry S Truman (1-16, 0-13) will host Neshaminy on Tuesday.

COUNCIL ROCK SOUTH 49, PENNRIDGE 37
The Golden Hawks took control of Saturday’s crossover game from the outset, opening up a 28-16 halftime lead and never looking back. The road win came on the heels of back-to-back losses to Bensalem and Neshaminy.
“We just brought the energy from the start,” Rock South coach Andrew Rogers said. “Obviously, our last two games I don’t think we played as well as we could have, but we also played two really good teams, two teams that are playing well right now.
“I think this one was a good one to just get back on track, have fun with the process and take it one game at a time. I think they really took that to heart. We just played one play at a time defensively and offensively.”
The Hawks received contributions up and down their lineup. In the opening half, Gabe Cerulli’s seven points led a balanced attack. Jordan Getz added six. The Golden Hawks maintained that lead throughout the second half on the way to the win.
For the game, Getz and Mike Burns led the Hawks with 10 points each. Cerulli and Timmy Rahill both added nine points while Ryan Wekluk had six points.
“We had great contributions from everybody, which has been a strength for us all year,” Rogers said. “We did not have Ryan Wekluk last night, but he was able to play today. He played well. He had six points and two blocks, seven rebounds.
“I think him coming in and giving us minutes today was big for us obviously physically but mentally as well. It allows us to really use our depth.”
Rock South is 18th in the latest District 1 6A power rankings in what will be a 24-team tournament field.
“Down the stretch, we’re just trying to take them one game at a time and get as many (wins) as we can to put ourselves in the best situation possible,” Rogers said. “Also, after playing two teams that are playing well, it’s good to get back and see a win. Especially the way we played today – I think we’re getting back to doing a lot of the things that have made us successful in different parts of the year, which is big for us because you have two tough ones – you just have to get back to the basics and get back to the simple things we’ve been stressing.”
Council Rock South (10-7, 7-5 SOL) will host Council Rock North on Tuesday at 5:30 p.m., and Pennridge (3-15, 2-10) will travel to Central Bucks East on Tuesday.
