Non-league
COUNCIL ROCK NORTH 40, NORTHEAST 30
The Indians – behind six points from Dylan Kiefer – led 10-6 after one quarter, and they took an 18-14 lead into halftime. Kiefer accounted for 10 of those points.
A 14-7 third quarter sent the Indians into the final quarter with a 32-21 lead on their way to their second win in as many days.
Key players: Dylan Kiefer’s 14-point effort led the Indians. Billy McBride also finished in double figures with 10, and Cameron Wright had nine points.
Council Rock North coach Derek Wright:
“It was a solid team win on the road after an emotional game last night. The senior leadership of Dylan Kiefer and Billy McBride was the difference. We had to rebound and defend throughout, as Northeast played hard and didn’t go away.”
Up next: Council Rock North will travel to Harry S Truman Tuesday.

HOLY GHOST PREP 69, PENNSBURY 66 (OT)
For the second time in less than 24 hours, the Falcons were extended to overtime, and for the second time, they came up just short.
That, according to coach Wes Emme, is where the similarities ended.
“Coming off last night, we felt like we underperformed, and we were disappointed in the outcome,” the Falcons’ coach said. “We came back today for a shootaround, our coaching staff gave pretty inspired speeches about what the expectations are at Pennsbury to perform and the toughness necessary to play for our school.
“Today our kids came out and responded. We had multiple opportunities to win the game. Holy Ghost is having a really nice year. They are extraordinarily well coached – a good team with talented kids.”
The Falcons were actually up two with 2.2 seconds remaining in regulation.
“They make an incredible inbounds pass to Liam Condon, who scores it to send it to overtime,” Emme said. “Then in overtime, we got the lead with a minute left. Credit to them, they make a 3, and we have to foul. We had our opportunities. What I told them is that I’ll ride with the team that I saw today.
“You are not always in control of the outcome, but you are in complete control of how you respond to adversity and how you attack the game and how you prepare.”
The Falcons had four players in double figures. Patrick Jajua led the way with 22 points, which included a 9-for-9 effort at the foul line. Sean Breslin had just two first-half points but finished with 14. Brayden Clark added 13 points – 10 in the second half and OT. Brady Kent had 11 – nine in the second half and overtime.
Up next: Pennsbury will host Council Rock South Tuesday with the SOL Patriot Division title at stake. Both teams are 7-2 in SOL division play with only Tuesday’s league final remaining.
“If we play the way we played today, win, lose or draw on Tuesday, I’m going home with that team,” Emme said. “That wasn’t the feeling after Friday night’s performance.”

CUMBERLAND VALLEY 58, ABINGTON 44
The Ghosts – on the heels of an emotional loss to Plymouth Whitemarsh less than 24 hours earlier – got off to a slow start, scoring just four points in the first quarter and 12 in the half. As a result, they found
themselves on the short end of a 23-12 halftime score.
Abington picked up the pace in the second half, scoring 32 points but CV scored 36, and the Ghosts never could put a dent in their early hole.
“They were the better team today,” Abington coach Dan Marsh said.
Xander Grasty’s 12 points included three 3-pointers and led the Ghosts. Ron Pickron added 10, and Amare Stone had eight points.
