The Owls won a grueling five-set match over the Indians.

Leading the Owls were Maci Mckernan (10 kills 5 aces) Evette Wesseh (12 kills 3 aces 10 digs 3 blocks) Kenz Pressler (9 kills 10 digs 3 aces 2 blocks) Meghan Murray (4 kills) Piper Griffiths (18 digs 1 ace) Lexi Wolanski served well racking up 3 aces. Setter Reece Colgan ran the offense well 33 assists 4 aces 6 digs.

CENTRAL BUCKS SOUTH 3, CENTRAL BUCKS EAST 1 (25-21, 25-13, 20-25, 25-20)
The Titans won the first two sets, but the Patriots prevented a sweep with a win in the third set. The Titans – who were led by the 21-kill effort of Katelyn Ross at the net – rallied to win the fourth set. Oliva Hessenthaler’s 26 digs led the defense.

In a battle of the neighboring rivals, it was the Indians earning a sweep of the Lady Rams. Madison Truskowski’s 11 kills led the Indians at the net.

For the Rams, Maggie Dekutoski led the way offensively with 10 kills and added 11 digs. Zoe Roth recorded 12 digs, 13 assists and 4 kills, while Jade Wandall contributed 13 assists and a team-high 20 digs. Sawyer Blomgren added 6 kills and 1 block, while Ali Lightcap finished with 4 kills and 6 digs.
Special Recognition: Sophomore Emma Hill recorded her 500th career dig! Hill led Pennridge defensively with 26 digs and also contributed four assists, one kill and one ace. Congratulations to Emma on this impressive milestone!
CENTRAL BUCKS WEST 3, NORTH PENN 1 (25-17, 23-25, 25-15, 25-18)
The Bucks received contributions up and down their lineup in Thursday’s four-set win. Senior Kya Lynch led the way with 26 kills to go along with five aces, three blocks and 16 digs. Setter Emma Shank had 33 assists.

HATBORO-HORSHAM 3, CHELTENHAM 0 (25-16, 25-8, 25-14)
HH won a three-set match with Abington by being effective on all sides of the ball on Thursday night to move them to 10-3 on the season.
The team had 12 aces with Gabbie convincingly leading the pack at seven, and Kinley Brock as well as Caroline Ward both adding two. HH was stellar at the need in spreading it around with Gabbie again leading the pack with 15 kills, Ciara Lacey with nine, Skye Williams with six and Leah Benoit-Jean with five. Sophomore Eunice Chung held down the defense with 11 digs, with Alyssa Wolf and Gabbie Fisher adding six and five digs respectively. Sophomore setter Kinley Brock ran the offense with 28 assists.
Despite the loss, the Ghosts played hard throughout all three sets.
Abington coach Marlene Jackson gave shoutouts to senior Outside Hitters Maddie Peltzer (#9) for a strong dual-threat performance with 11 digs and 5 kills, and Sophie Heininger (#14) for leading the offense with 7 kills and 3 digs.
Up next: HH (10-3, overall, 6-1 SOL) travels to Upper Merion on Monday night for its next non-league match, and Abington will host Quakertown on Tuesday.
SOL Freedom Division
WILLIAM TENNENT 3, Springfield Twp 0 (25-17, 25-13, 25-23)

The Lady Panthers have broken through with a 3-0 win on the road today, after some back-to-back losses and tough games! They stepped it up with not only a 3-0 W but tonight saw some new faces on the court as a few of our JV swing players made their Varsity debut with some minutes of playing time and contributions to the offense! Some of those exciting moments include two kills and four digs by sophomore outside, Emilia Picariello and two kills by junior rightside Emma Schubert. Some other noteworthy plays were a season-high 15 assists for sophomore setter Sofia Mushinsky along with a kill and an ace, and junior defense specialist Nicoletta Vafiadis scooped up two digs and a kill, nicely helping out the offense. The girls played a great game, especially with new players in new places, and are looking forward to their Cheltenham game on the road again next Tuesday.
