BASEBALL
Pete O’Hara (Council Rock)
was 3-for-3 with a double, three runs scored and three RBIs in Delaware Valley’s 12-9 win over Eastern University in game two of a twinbill on Saturday. Kyle Wenger (Souderton) had an RBI single. In Del Val’s 11-7 loss in the opener, Wenger had an RBI double. In Wednesday’s 4-3 win over Wilkes University, O’Hara hit his third home run of the season. Brandon Bell (Norristown) doubled, scored and drove in a run. O’Hara finished the game 2-for-4 with a triple, home run, two runs scored and two RBIs. Trevor Dalton (Pennridge) collected the final out in the ninth inning on the mound.

Craig Lepre (North Penn) hit a grand slam in the seventh inning in the University of Albany’s 8-7 win over UMass Lowell on Saturday. Lepre finished the game 2-for-5 with a game-high four RBIs. Albany won two out of three against UMass Lowell this weekend. Lepre is batting .350 in conference play and leads the Great Danes in RBIs and slugging percentage. In Tuesday’s 8-2 loss to Fordham, Lepre hit an RBI double. It was his sixth double of the season.

Freshman Vince Careghini (Central Bucks East) contributed a hit and RBI and also stole the first base of his collegiate career in Shippensburg’s 3-0 win over Kutztown on Saturday.

Matt Hollenbeck (Hatboro-Horsham) threw three scoreless innings in Georgetown’s 6-2 win over George Washington on Tuesday. He allowed just four singles and struck out one to earn the win.

Junior right hander Kristopher Davis (Central Bucks East) fired a complete game, three-hit shutout to lead Elizabethtown to a 3-0 win over Albright on Tuesday. He retired nine of the first 10 batters he faced and didn’t allow a hit until giving up a two-out single in the fourth. He retired the side in order in the first, second, fifth, eighth and ninth innings.

Freshman Randy Frankenfield (Wissahickon) threw 5.1 innings to earn the win in York’s 12-6 win over Mary Washington on Friday. The Wissahickon grad allowed three runs on six hits with one strikeout and two walks.

Ben Hauser (Central Bucks East) contributed an RBI triple in Northampton’s 11-1 win over Luzerne on Tuesday.

Dylan Tice (Pennridge) was 2-for-3 with two stolen bases in IUP’s 5-4 win over Mercyhurst on Tuesday. In Monday’s 12-4 loss to Seton Hill, Tice was 1-for-3 with two RBIs.

Sophomore David Blount (Harry S Truman) collected two hits, scored twice and stole three bases in Gwynedd Mercy’s 4-1 win over Neumann University on Thursday. In Gwynedd Mercy’s 7-1 win over Neumann in the first game of a twinbill on Wednesday, Blount knocked in a pair of runs. In game two, an 11-6 Gwynedd win, junior Eric Heaney (Hatboro-Horsham) tied a career high with three RBIs. Two of them came on a two-out triple in the second.

Moravian junior outfielder Matt Hanson (Central Bucks West) was named the Landmark Conference Player of the Week. His bat and glove came into play during the 2-0 week for the Greyhounds. The junior outfielder, also a co-captain, was 4-for-8 at the plate with a double and a triple to go with three runs and three RBIs. Hanson recorded four putouts from his right field position without an error. In Moravian’s 7-5 come-from-behind win at Montclair State, Hanson was 2-for-4 with a pair of runs, a double and an RBI. In the Greyhounds’ 5-2 win at Juniata, Hanson was 2-for-4 with a triple and two RBIs, including the game-winning RBI in the top of the seventh. He ranks third in the Landmark Conference with 18 RBIs and owns a .383 batting average (23-for-60) through Moravian’s first 16 games. He is also a perfect 5-for-5 on stolen base attempts this season.
Hanson broke up a no-hit bid with a single up the middle in the seventh inning of Moravian’s 8-1 loss to Susquehanna on Sunday. The loss snapped a 12-game winning streak for the Greyhounds. In game one of Saturday’s twinbill sweep of Susquehanna, Daniel Seitzinger (Central Bucks West) put down a one-out safety squeeze bunt to plate a run for a walk-off 5-4 win in the 10th inning.  Hanson was 2-for-4 with an RBI and run scored. In Moravian’s 3-2 win in the nightcap, Hanson contributed a hit and scored a run. In Wednesday’s 8-0 win over Haverford, Hanson was 1-for-3 with an RBI and run scored. In Moravian’s 14-0 win over Juniata in game one of a twinbill on Tuesday, Hanson was 3-for-4 with a triple, three RBIs and three runs scored. In game two, a 13-4 win, Hanson was 2-for-4 with two RBIs and two runs. Seitzinger was 1-for-3 with two runs scored.

Dan Hinchcliff (North Penn) contributed a single in Catholic University’s 3-0 win over Juniata on Saturday.

JT Crits (Wissahickon) delivered a pinch single in La Salle’s 6-5 win over Lehigh on Tuesday.

Ryan Henritzy (Council Rock North) singled and scored a run in Lock Haven’s 3-2 win over East Stroudsburg in game one of a twinbill Sunday. Henritzy tallied his team’s only hit in Lock Haven’s 5-0 loss in game two, a third inning double. In Saturday’s 7-5 win over East Stroudsburg, Henritzy was 3-for-4 with an RBI and two runs scored. In Lock Haven’s 10-5 loss in game two of the doubleheader, Henritzy tallied one hit and one RBI.

Brandon Martinez (North Penn) was 2-for-2 with a double, two RBIs, three runs and a stolen base in Kutztown’s 14-8 win over 11th-ranked Shippensburg in game two of a twinbill sweep Sunday. In game one’s 4-3 win, Martinez contributed a single and RBI. In Saturday’s 3-0 loss to Shippensburg in game two of a doubleheader, Matt Matricardi (Upper Dublin) turned in a one-two-three inning in relief. Warren Stimpson (Wissahickon) collected a pinch single. In Kutztown’s 1-0 loss in game one of the twinbill, Martinez was 2-for-3 with a run scored.

Freshman Brady West (North Penn) delivered a single in the ninth inning to help propel Bloomsburg to a 4-2 win over No. 21 Millersville in game two of a doubleheader Sunday. Pinch runner Pete Edgar (North Penn) stole second and scored. In Bloomsburg’s 9-2 win over Millersville in Saturday’s doubleheader split, West had an RBi single.

Tyler Coleman (Quakertown) hit a home run to lead West Chester to a 6-3 win over Mansfield in game one of a PSAC East doubleheader Sunday. Coleman finished the game 2-for-4 with two RBIs and a run scored. Teammate Robert Knox (Upper Moreland) contributed a two-run double. In Saturday’s doubleheader split with Mansfield, Coleman was a combined 5-for-6 at the plate. In Saturday’s 6-4 loss to Mansfield in game two, Knox was 2-for-2 with a double and RBI. In Wednesday’ 2-1 loss to Bloomsburg, Coleman contributed a hit and RBI.

Lefty Jake Drossner (Council Rock North) struck out a career-high nine batters in Maryland’s 8-3 win over Liberty Wednesday. In his fourth midweek start of the season, Drossner set a new career mark in strikeouts and held the Flames to three hits and one earned run over six innings. The sophomore left hander retired the first eight batters of the game.

Billy Fleming (Council Rock South) singled and scored a run in West Virginia’s 4-3 loss at TCU on Friday.

Freshman Josh Freed (Souderton) earned the save in Cairn University’s 3-2 win over Purchase College on Tuesday, allowing just one hit and no runs in 1.2 innings of relief to close out the game.

Freshman Tom Kreiling (Neshaminy) threw a complete game while allowing just four hits and four walks and striking out three in Penn State Abington’s 4-2 loss to Penn State Berks on Saturday. In Wednesday’s 7-6 win over Lancaster Bible College, Kreiling had a huge day out of the nine hole, going 2-for-3 with three RBIs and one run scored. Brian Camp (Cheltenham) earned his first win of the season as a starter, throwing six innings and allowing six hits and four runs. Trey Guaglionona (Abington) was 2-for-4 with a double, RBI and two runs.

Ryan Pater (Central Bucks East) singled and scored a run in St. Joe’s 6-2 win over VCU on Saturday.

Sophomore first baseman Patrick Campion (Norristown) was 3-for-7 with a pair of doubles in Widener’s doubleheader against #19 Wilmington on Wednesday. Freshman pinchrunner Austin DiBonaventure (Plymouth Whitemarsh) stole third but was stranded there in a 14-0 loss in game two of the twinbill. In Tuesday’s 7-3 loss to Caldwell in game one of a doubleheader, Campion contributed a double and run scored. Joseph Mullin (Central Bucks South) was 1-for-1 with a double, RBI and run scored. In Chestnut Hill’s 2-0 win in game two, sophomore Zachary Crim (Hatboro-Horsham) earned the win on the mound, scattering six hits and four walks over eight scoreless frames.

Andrew Check (Central Bucks West) contributed a double, RBI and two runs scored in Eastern University’s 12-9 win over Delaware Valley in the opening game of a doubleheader Saturday. In Tuesday’s 8-6 loss to Misericordia in game two of a twinbill, Check was 3-for-5 with a double, RBI and run scored.

Tim Filer (Council Rock North) contributed a two-run double in Lebanon Valley’s 11-9 loss to Messiah on Saturday in game two of a twinbill.

Junior designated hitter Ken McCormick (Pennsbury) had one hit and two RBIs in Philadelphia University’s 2-1 win over Caldwell in game one of a twinbill Saturday.  He also had a hit and RBI in his team’s 11-5 win over Caldwell to earn the sweep. In Wednesday’s 7-0 loss to Felician , McCormick had two of his team’s six hits.

MEN’S LACROSSE
Freshman netminder Austin Marshall (Neshaminy) combined with his teammate for nine saves between the pipes in No. 3 Cabrini’s 18-8 win at Marywood on Saturday. The freshman goalie improved to 4-0 on the year.

Joe Palo (Hatboro-Horsham) scored a goal in Eastern University’s 14-11 win over King’s College on Wednesday.

Freshman Mitchell Vaysman (Council Rock South) tallied his first goal of the season in Lebanon Valley’s 23-6 win over Alvernia on Wednesday.

WOMEN’S LACROSSE
Junior Kimber Kisselback (Neshaminy) led the defense with five ground balls and three caused turnovers in Holy Family’s 12-11 loss to Molloy College on Thursday. It was her third straight game with three caused turnovers, and in the last four games, the Neshaminy grad has caused 11 turnovers on defense. In Monday’s 14-10 loss to Wilmington, Kisselman caused three turnovers and picked up a career-high seven ground balls.

Junior Hannah Vogel (Hatboro-Horsham) scored the game-winning goal in Millersville’s 15-14 win over Shepherd on Saturday. She finished with a season-high six points on five goals and an assist. Goalie Kaitlin Crouthamel (Souderton) recorded her third highest career save total in the game, stopping 14 shots. In Tuesday’s 21-8 loss to West Chester, Crouthamel was credited with 10 saves in the first period alone. She tied a career-high with 16 saves. Vogel finish with two goals, three draw controls and two caused turnovers.

Senior Amy Powell (Plymouth Whitemarsh) scored a goal in Gwynedd Mercy’s 20-3 loss to Neumann University on Thursday. Goalie Megan Rose (Pennridge) recorded five saves.

Senior Amy Cross (Upper Dublin) had a pair of goals in No. 3 Syracuse’s 13-11 win over No. 18/17 Albany on Tuesday.

Sophomore Stephanie Hogan (Central Bucks West) was credited with seven ground balls and three caused turnovers to help lead the defense in Eastern University’s 6-5 triple overtime win over King’s College. She also had five draw controls.

Kelly Hamilton (Central Bucks South) contributed two goals and an assist in No. 8 Lock Haven’s 9-6 win over No. 13 West Chester on Saturday. In Tuesday’s 10-5 win over No. 15 Bloomsburg, Hamilton and Lindsay Walbrandt (Souderton) each recorded the hat trick.

Madi Brunk (Cheltenham) scored a season high six goals in Messiah’s 18-10 win over Albright on Saturday. In Wednesday’s 17-5 win over Lycoming, Brunk finished with seven points, contributing two goals and five assists.

Junior Garrie Grenfell (North Penn) scored a goal in Shippensburg’s 10-8 win over Kutztown on Tuesday.

Ashley Bossert (Wissahickon) contributed three goals and an assist while teammate Carly Ball (North Penn) had a goal and an assist in Bloomsburg’s 18-13 win over Slippery Rock Saturday. Aubrey Bossert (Wissahickon) added a goal. In Tuesday’s 10-5 loss to No. 8 Lock Haven, Aubrey Bossert tallied two goals.

SOFTBALL
Holy Family University senior softball pitcher Rachael Alligood (Harry S Truman) was among those listed on the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Weekly Honor Roll for the week ending March 30. The Truman grad was named the CACC Pitcher of the Week fro the week ending March 9 in the conference’s first edition of the season. Alligood helped the Tigers to a two-game sweep over Goldey-Beacom College. Holy Family defeated the Lightning 11-7 and 12-2 to improve to 13-5 overall and 5-1 in the CACC. In game one, Alligood made a relief appearance in the final frame as she shut down the Lightning in order to preserve the victory for the Tigers. She recorded two strikeouts after facing only three batters. Alligood got the start in game two as she went the distance. In six innings of work, she allowed only two unearned runs off five hits to earn her fourth win of the season. This season she is 4-1 and owns a 2.01 ERA in 31.1 innings of work. She has 20 strikeouts while issuing 10 walks.
Alligood picked up her fifth victory of the season and the 26th of her career to move into a tie for seventh all-time career victories in Holy Family’s 8-5 win over Post on Saturday. She went 6.2 innings, allowing five runs. She struck out five and issued three walks. In Holy Family’s 4-1 win over Post in game one of the twinbill, junior Kelsi Bunda (Pennsbury) had a base hit.

Chelsea Edwards (Hatboro-Horsham) contributed an RBI double in Lock Haven’s 4-1 win over Bloomsburg on Sunday in the second game of a twinbill. In Saturday’s 3-1 loss to Shippensburg in game one of a doubleheader, Edwards doubled. In Wednesday’s 5-4 loss to East Stroudsburg in game one of a twinbill, Edwards delivered a two-run home run. In game two, a 2-0 loss, Edwards and Michelle Holweger (North Penn) each collected a hit. In Tuesday’s 9-2 loss to Kutztown, Edwards drilled her first home run of the year. Her two-run line drive over the left center field fence gave Lock Haven the lead.

A day after being named the Colonial States Athletic Conference Hitter of the Week, freshman Brooke Labs (Pennridge) was named the ECAC’s South Region Co-Player of the Week. Labs hit .875 in two games, leading Marywood to a 2-0 CSAC start with 11-0 and 15-2 wins over Cedar Crest. Labs was 7-for-8 at the plate with three doubles and five RBI over the two games. It is Labs’ first career weekly conference honor.

Freshman Christina Bascara (Pennsbury) was 1-for-3 with a home run, three RBIs and a walk in La Salle’s 7-3 win over George Washington on Saturday. The Pennsbury grad hit a three-run home run gave the Explorers a 3-1 lead. In La Salle’s 5-1 loss to Delaware in the second game of a twinbill, Suzanne Swanicke (Pennsbury) was 1-for-3 with a double and run scored. Bascara also had a hit. In La Salle’s 3-0 loss in game one, Swanicke was 3-for-3 with two doubles. In La Salle’s 1-0 win over Bucknell in game one of Wednesday’s twinbill, Swanicke contributed a double and the game’s only RBI. In La Salle’s 6-5 come-from behind win over Dayton on Sunday, Swanicke was 2-for-3 with a double, two RBIs and one run scored. Bascara was 1-for-4 with a home run, two RBIs and one run scored. Pinch runner Alli Waddington (Central Bucks South) scored a run.

Senior Stephanie Farrar (North Penn) delivered a two-run triple in Gwynedd Mercy’s 5-3 win over Centenary in game two of a twinbill on Saturday. In Wednesday’s 10-0 win over Cedar Crest in the first game of a twinbill, Farrar was 2-for-3 with three RBIs, a triple and run scored. In game two, a 12-0 win, Farrar and MaryKate Ballerino (Hatboro-Horsham) each added three hits. Ballerino was 3-for-3 with a double, triple, stolen base, three RBIs and two runs scored.

Mary Ward (North Penn) was 3-for-4 with a homer and four RBIs in IUP’s 9-3 win over Seton Hill Tuesday in game two of a doubleheader sweep. In Tuesday’s 6-4 win over Mercyhurst in a twinbill sweep, Ward was 2-for-3 with a double, RBI and two runs scored. She was 2-for-2 with a double and three runs in IUP’s 9-1 win over Mercyhurst in the opening game of the doubleheader.

Mollie Burrell (Souderton) was 2-for-5 with a run scored in Philadelphia University’s 9-5 win over the University of the Sciences on Tuesday.

Junior third baseman Liz Parkins (Souderton) hit the go-ahead RBI single in the seventh inning to lift No. 16 Shippensburg to a 6-5 win over Lock Haven on Saturday.

Tiffany Gower (North Penn) earned the win in Cairn University’s 3-2 win over Keystone College on Saturday, allowing two earned runs in seven innings. Kelly Hendrickson (William Tennent) contributed a two-run single. In Cairn’s 13-3 loss in game two of Saturday’s twinbill, Hendrickson also drove in a run.

Sophomore Haileigh Stocks (Central Bucks South) had a huge day at the plate in Robert Morris University’s sweep of Youngstown State Wednesday, finishing the day 5-for-7 with a double and two RBIs. She was 3-for-4 in a 6-1 win in the opener for her second three-hit game of the year. In the second game, a 6-4 win, Stocks was 2-for-3. With the two multi-hit games, Stocks now has 10 in her career. She also earned the win in the nightcap by working into the fifth inning.

Jess Schuck (Council Rock South) hit a home run and drove in three runs in West Chester’s 10-3 win over East Stroudsburg on Sunday in game one of a twinbill. In West Chester’s 8-1 win in game two, Schuck contributed an RBI double and scored. Megan Kelly (Hatboro-Horsham) delivered a grand slam and double and scored five times. In Saturday’s 3-2 win over Bloomsburg in game two of a doubleheader, Schuck and Kelly each contributed a hit. Schuck drove in her team’s only run in a 4-1 loss in game one of the twinbill.  

Heather Lutz (Hatboro-Horsham) was 2-for-3 with a double and teammate Stephanie Kulp (North Penn) was 1-for-3 with one RBI and a run scored in Millersville’s 6-3 loss to No. 16 Shippensubrg in game one of a doubleheader Sunday. In Millersville’s 4-3 loss in game two, Danielle DiFilippo (Hatboro-Horsham) and Gabbie Berry (Norristown) each had a single to account for two of their team’s three hits. In Saturday’s 2-0 win over Mansfield in game one of a twinbill, Berry and DiFilippo each had a hit. In the Marauders 4-0 loss in game two, Kulp was 2-for-3 with a double. Maria Spinosa (Hatboro-Horsham) and Lutz each also had a double. Berry added a single. In Wednesday’s 7-2 loss to West Chester, DiFilippo was 2-for-2, and Spinosa also had two hits and an RBI. In Tuesday’s 5-2 win over East Stroudsburg in game one of a doubleheader, DiFilippo was 3-for-3 with a double and RBI while Spinosa was 2-for-3 with a home run, three RBIs and two runs scored. Berry and Lutz each added a hit. Spinosa’s three-run home run in the sixth was the first of her career, and it erased a 2-1 deficit. In Millersville’s 5-4 loss in game two, Spinosa was 2-for-3, DiFilippo singled and drove in a run while Kulp singled and scored a run. In Millersville’s doubleheader sweep of Kutztown on Monday, DiFilppo was 2-for-3 with an RBI and run scored.

Freshman outfielder Bridget Hunt (Harry S Truman) contributed an RBI single in Binghamton’s 6-2 win over UMBC on Friday. In Binghamton’s 4-2 win over St. Bonaventure on Monday, Hunt was 1-for-2 with a run scored. She had a single and two runs scored in Binghamton’s 6-5 win in the nightcap to earn the sweep.

Junior Julie Wambold (Hatboro-Horsham) was 2-for-4 with a double and three RBIs in Syracuse’s 9-4 win over Maryland in game one of a twinbill on Wednesday.

Lehigh University sophomore Morgan Decker (Central Bucks South) was named the Player of the Week in the Patriot League for the week ending March 30. Decker continued her torrid offensive pace en route to her second straight Player of the Week honors and her third this season. In three games against Lafayette, Decker was 5-for-6 at the plate with four extra base hits and four RBIs. She also drew four walks, giving the CB South grad a .900 on-base percentage to go along with her .833 batting average for the week. In Lehigh’s series opener, Decker gave Lehigh a 2-0 lead in the fifth inning with a two-run home run to right center, her team leading fourth of the season. Decker had an RBI single in the first game of her team’s twinbill with Lafayette and then went 3-for-4 with two doubles, a triple, RBI and two runs scored in the series finale, which Lehigh won 9-1 in six innings. In six Patriot League games of the last two weeks, Decker is batting .800 (12-for-14) with seven runs scored, three doubles, a triple, two home runs and 12 RBIs. She has upped her overall season average to .448 and has already driven in 25 runs in 24 games for the Mountain Hawks.
Decker smacked a two-run home run to right field, her fifth of the season, in Lehigh’s 10-4 win over Rider in game two of a twinbill sweep on Wednesday. Decker finished the game 3-for-4 with a home run, double, three RBIs and a run scored.

Valerie Sadowl (Hatboro-Horsham) was 2-for-3 with a double and two runs scored while freshman Dominique Pinto (Council Rock South) was 1-for-3 with two RBIs and a run scored in Connecticut’s 11-10 loss to Quinnipiac on Thursday.

Sophomore Maggie Shaffer (Hatboro-Horsham) threw a career-high 9.1 innings in Guilford’s 4-3 loss to Randolph-Macon on Friday, often pitching out of trouble. She left Yellow Jackets on third base in the second, sixth, seventh and eighth innings.
Freshman Lauren Quense (Neshaminy) earned the win in Fordham’s 7-3 win over George Mason Saturday. The Neshaminy grad threw all seven innings, allowing six hits and two earned runs while striking out two and walking one.

Freshman Lauren Creamer (Neshaminy) delivered a two-run home run in Susquehanna's 6-5 win over Elizabethtown on Sunday. She also scored a pair of runs in the win. Morgan Lewis (Council Rock North) earned the win on the mound, working 6.2 innings. Brittany Devlin (Central Bucks East) picked up two hits - including a solo home run - and scored three runs. Devlin also had an RBI single in Susquehann's 9-2 win in game two of Sunday's twinbill sweep. Susquehanna is a perfect 6-0 in Landmark Conference play.

Sophomore Lauren Klepchick (Central Bucks South) singles three times, walked once and scored a pair of run in the University of Rhode Island’s sweep of St. Joe’s on Saturday (6-3, 2-1). The CB South grad has reached base safely in 10 straight games and is batting .429 with an on-base percentage of .515 over that stretch. In Wednesday’s 3-1 loss to Providence, Klepchick walked three times.

Justyna Pepkowski (Quakertown) earned her third win of the season in Elizabethtown’s 10-9 win over Scranton on Saturday. The Quakertown grad pitched the final five innings, fanning six.

Freshman Salina Allebach (Souderton) threw all six innings in Widener’s 14-2 win over Arcadia on Tuesday, allowing five hits and only one earned run. She also led the Pride offensively as well, going 3-for-4 at the plate with two runs and four RBIs. Freshman Ally Horvath (Central Bucks South) was 2-for-3 with a run scored.

Ashley Alden (William Tennent) contributed an RBI single in St. Joe’s 6-3 loss to Rhode Island in the nightcap of a twinbill on Saturday. In Wednesday’s 4-3 loss to Monmouth, Alden was 2-for-3 with a run scored.

Penn State Abington freshman Emily Wrenn (Hatboro-Horsham) was named the NEAC Softball Pitcher of the Week after helping the Nittany Lions to a win in their season opener, pitching a complete game and allowing two runs on six hits while walking one in a 6-2 win over Arcadia to record her first collegiate win.
Wrenn earned her second victory of the season in Penn State Abington’s 9-3 win over Gallaudet on Tuesday. She scattered eight hits while allowing three runs and striking out one.

MEN’S TENNIS
Penn State Abington senior Steven Ly (Bensalem) was named the NAC West Men’s Tennis Player of the Week for the week ending March 30. The senior did not drop a set during play in the team’s 8-1 win over Bryn Athyn College. Ly opened the match with an 8-0 sweep in No. 2 doubles before sweeping his opponent in straight sets (6-0, 6-0) in No. 2 singles action to record his 16th collegiate career victory.
Ly was part of the second doubles team that earned an 8-3 win in Penn State Abington’s 8-1 win over Lancaster Bible College in Friday’s NEAC opener. In the team’s 7-2 win over Penn State Berks on Saturday, Ly earned a 6-3, 6-0 win at fourth singles and an 8-1 win in second doubles.

Peter Brzezinski (Hatboro-Horsham) earned a 6-1, 6-2 win at first singles in Gwynedd Mercy’s 5-4 win over Cabrini on Saturday. He also was part of the first doubles team that earned an 8-3 win.

MEN’S TRACK & FIELD
Senior Jon Eisemann (Central Bucks South) was part of St. Joe’s 4x100 relay team that took third in an IC4A qualifying time of 41.75 at the 49th Annual Colonial Relays on Saturday. The meet included more than 50 colleges and universities. Junior Matthew McGarvey (Central Bucks West) was part of the 4x800 relay that qualified for IC4As with a time of 7:37.91, which was good enough for fifth place. McGarvey also was part of the 4x400 relay that posted a time of 3:19.19. He took ninth in the 800m (1:52.02) while Eisemann (11.35) earned a top 20 slot in the 200m.

East Stroudsburg freshman Sean Hagerty (Pennridge) posted a PSAC qualifying distance in the long jump (21-4) at Saturday’s Muhlenberg Spring Invitational. Sophomore Corey Smith (Central Bucks West) posted a PSAC qualifying height in the pole vault (14-0). Senior Keith Parker-Washington (Upper Moreland) posted a PSAC qualifying time in the 100m dash (10.84). Smith finished first in the pole vault and Parker-Washington was third in the 100m dash and was part of the first place 4x400 relay (3:19.85) while Hagerty was third in the long jump.

Jalen Ramsey (Norristown) was part of Shippensburg’s 4x100 relay that finished ninth with a time of 42.64 at the Colonial Relays on Saturday. Junior Matt Bree (Central Bucks West) was part of the 4x800 relay that posted a time of 7:47.08.

Widener senior Stas Starovoytov (Neshaminy) finished third in the hammer throw at 40.14 meters at the Osprey Open in Galloway, NJ on Saturday. Freshman Alex Cucciarre (Souderton) was fourth in the javelin at 51.00 meters.

WOMEN’S TRCK & FIELD
Monique Clemons (Wissahickon)
was part of Shippensburg’s 4x400 relay that finished fifth and posted a new season best with a time of 3:48.83. She also was part of the 4x100 relay that posted a time of 49.66.

Bloomsburg’s Tayler Harkins (North Penn) broke her own school record in the hammer throw with a toss of 44.45 meters (145’10”) at the Crusader Classic at Susquehanna University Saturday, smashing her old mark of 40.46 meters. Harkins also had a PSAC qualifying throw in the shot put with a throw of 11.26 meters (36’11 ½”). Keelan McDonald (Central Bucks West) posted a personal best time of 11:01.22 to win the event. Kate Dodds (Upper Dublin) improved her PSAC time in the 1500 meters with a time of 4:53.87. Alexis Rankin (Hatboro-Horsham) finished second in the 400m dash with a time of 1:00.60.  Kelly Anne Stuetz (Cheltenham) finished in a tie for third in the high jump (5-0 ¼”) and finished fourth in the 400m hurdles (1:10.65).

MEN’S VOLLEYBALL

Christian Lizana (Pennridge) posted three kills and three rejections in the middle in Vassar’s 3-0 win over Brooklyn on Saturday. He had six kills and five rejections in Vassar’s 3-1 loss to Rutgers-Newark as part of Saturday’s tri-match.
