BASEBALL
Elizabethtown junior Kristopher Davis (Central Bucks East) was named to the 2014 Middle Atlantic Conference Spring Academic Honor Roll. The Honor Roll recognizes all spring student-athletes who have reached sophomore standing or higher with a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 or higher.

Cairn University senior Jeremy McAlack (Council Rock North), sophomore Luke McAlack (Council Rock North) and freshman Josh Freed (Souderton) were named to the 2013-14 Colonial States Athletic Association Winter/Spring All-Academic Team. The all-academic team recognizes student-athletes who have achieved a grade point average of 3.20 or higher during their semester of competition while using a full season of eligibility as determined by the NCAA.

Chestnut Hill senior Joseph Mullin (Central Bucks South), sophomore Patrick Campion (Norristown) and sophomore Zachary Crim (Hatboro-Horsham) were named to the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Spring 2014 All-Academic Team. Recipients must maintain a 3.50 career GPA or higher while participating in a CACC-sponsored spring sports.

Kutztown junior Brandon Martinez (North Penn) was named to the Dean’s List for the 2014 spring semester. To be eligible for the Dean’s List, an undergraduate student must be registered for at least 12 credits and have a minimum grade point average of 3.60.

MEN’S BASKETBALL
Kutztown sophomore Ryan Connolly (Souderton) was named to the Dean’s List for the 2014 spring semester. To be eligible for the Dean’s List, an undergraduate student must be registered for at least 12 credits and have a minimum grade point average of 3.60.

WOMEN’S BASKETBALL
Cairn University sophomore Amie Eppolito (Pennsbury) was named to the 2013-14 Colonial States Athletic Association Winter/Spring All-Academic Team. The all-academic team recognizes student-athletes who have achieved a grade point average of 3.20 or higher during their semester of competition while using a full season of eligibility as determined by the NCAA.

Gwynedd Mercy senior Jordan Dominic (Pennridge) was named to the Colonial States Athletic Conference’s 2013-14 Winter/Spring All-Academic Team. Recipients of this honor must have achieved a grade point average of 3.20 or higher during their semester of competition while using a full season of eligibility as determined by the NCAA.

WOMEN’S CROSS COUNTRY/TRACK & FIELD
Kutztown redshirt juniors Carolyn Fergus (North Penn) and Elizabeth McLaughlin (Upper Dublin) were named to the Dean’s List for the 2014 spring semester. To be eligible for the Dean’s List, an undergraduate student must be registered for at least 12 credits and have a minimum grade point average of 3.60.

WOMEN’S GOLF
Lebanon Valley junior Jan Ikeda (North Penn) was named to the Middle Atlantic Conference’s Spring Academic Honor Roll. Recipients carried a 3.2 or above cumulative GPA through the fall 2013 semester as sophomores, juniors seniors or graduate students.

MEN’S LACROSSE
Gwynedd Mercy freshman Jacob Snavely (Central Bucks South) was named to the Colonial States Athletic Conference’s 2013-14 Winter/Spring All-Academic Team. Recipients of this honor must have achieved a grade point average of 3.20 or higher during their semester of competition while using a full season of eligibility as determined by the NCAA.

WOMEN’S LACROSSE
Messiah junior Madi Brunk (Cheltenham) was named to the Middle Atlantic Conference All-Academic squad. Recipients must carry at least a 3.2 cumulative grade points average and must be top performers in their respective sports. Unlike the conference’s Academic Honor Roll, which recognizes student-athletes with at least a 3.2 cumulative GPA, the Academic All-Conference teams are voted upon by the sports information directors from across all member schools. Brunk earned second team All-Commonwealth recognition, finishing with the second most points (67) and a team-high 40 assists, just two shy of the program’s single season record. She had a breakout season with career highs in goals, assists, points, shots, ground balls, draw controls and caused turnovers.

Saint Joseph’s senior defender Brittany Hanrahan (North Penn) was selected to the Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association Division One South Team roster and represented the Hawks in the 2014 IWLCA North-South Game on Saturday at Cabrini College. In 16 starts, Hanrahan ranked second on the team in ground balls (38) and third in caused turnovers (22) at the conclusion of the 2014 campaign. The Atlantic 10 All-Conference second team selection averaged 1.3 ground balls per game in league action and boasted seven three-plus ground ball games and five three-plus caused turnover games en route to ranking in the top five of the A-10 in both defensive categories. Hanrahan co-captained and anchored the Hawks’ defensive unit in 2014 as Saint Joseph’s concluded the season ranked second nationally in caused turnovers per game and seventh in ground balls per game.
WOMEN’S ROWING
Stanford sophomore Emily Grundman (Council Rock North) was named to the PAC-12 All-Academic first team. She also was named a Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association Scholar-Athlete. This spring Stanford won the PAC-12 Championship for the first time in school history. Each of the Cardinals’ boats, including Grundman’s 2V8, swept their races. After its strong showing, Stanford was ranked second in the country. In the NCAA Division One Championships in Indianapolis last weekend, each of Stanford’s boats won their preliminary heats on Friday, and they all earned a spot in the respective Grand Finals by virtue of two first and one second place finish in the semifinals. Grundman’s boat finished fourth in the nation in its Grand Final for the 2V8, and the team finished fourth overall. Grundman’s boat was undefeated against all PAC-12 schools for the season.

SOFTBALL
Sophomore Maggie Shaffer (Hatboro-Horsham) was named to Guilford College’s Spring 2014 Student-Athlete Honor Roll. The list is comprised of varsity student-athletes on the fall roster who achieved a grade point average of 3.0 or higher for the spring 2014 semester. She also received Academic All-ODAC honors.

Lehigh sophomore Morgan Decker (Central Bucks South) was named to the ECAC All-Star second team. It is the second consecutive year she has received all-star status. Last year’s ECAC Co-Rookie of the Year and first team All-Star, Decker captured her second consecutive Patriot League Player of the Year award in 2014. She finished second in the league in batting average (.412) and topped the league in home runs (nine), slugging percentage (.725), on-base percentage (.548) and bases on balls (32). Decker also led the Mountain Hawks with 12 doubles and 39 RBIs this past season. Last month, Decker was named to the NFCA Mid-Atlantic All-Region team for the second straight year. She is a career .414 hitter with 18 home runs and 85 RBIs. Decker also has a .718 career slugging percentage and a .547 career on-base percentage.

Marywood University freshman Brooke Labs (Pennridge) was named to the Eastern College Athletic Conference’s (ECAC) South Region All-Star second team after helping guide the Pacers to a 2014 Colonial States Athletic Conference Championship and NCAA Division III tournament berth. Labs was named to the second team as a third baseman. She also was a first team All-CSAC selection and was the ECAC South Region Co-Player of the Week for the week ending March 23. She also earned CSAC Hitter of the Week honors that week. Labs ranked second on the team with a .416 batting average and also started and played in all 37 games. She led the Pacers with 14 doubles and added four triples and two home runs and had a team-leading 37 RBIs.

The all-academic team recognizes student-athletes who have achieved a grade point average of 3.20 or higher during their semester of competition while using a full season of eligibility as determined by the NCAA.

The West Chester softball team closed out its season ranked sixth in the final National Fastpitch Coaches’ Association poll. The Golden Rams appeared in the national rankings just once during the regular season, checking in at No. 23 on April 9. West Chester’s spot at No. 6 marks the highest ranking in school history since the NFCA began ranking Division II institutions in 1995, and it is the first time the Golden Rams have cracked the Top 10 nationally. A senior class that included Kim Begley (Abington), Megan Kelly (Hatboro-Horsham) and Jess Schuck (Council Rock Sout) anchored the team. Those seniors – part of a group of seven seniors - hold eight career school records and another nine single season marks along with the team records of wins both in a single season (40) and a career (141) and games played in a single season (64) and career (228). Kelly appeared in 223 career games, starting in the outfield since her freshman season. Schuck is third on the school’s all-time list for games played.

Recipients of this honor must have achieved a grade point average of 3.20 or higher during their semester of competition while using a full season of eligibility as determined by the NCAA.

MEN’S TENNIS
Gwynedd Mercy sophomore Peter Brzezinski (Hatboro-Horsham) was named to the Colonial States Athletic Conference’s 2013-14 Winter/Spring All-Academic Team. Recipients of this honor must have achieved a grade point average of 3.20 or higher during their semester of competition while using a full season of eligibility as determined by the NCAA.

MEN’S TRACK & FIELD
Elizabethtown sophomore Sam Brooks (Wissahickon) was named to the 2014 Middle Atlantic Conference Spring Academic Honor Roll. The Honor Roll recognizes all spring student-athletes who have reached sophomore standing or higher with a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 or higher.
East Stroudsburg senior Keith Parker-Washington (Upper Moreland) was part of ESU’s 4x100m relay that posted a time of 42.07 to finish third in the PSAC.

WOMEN’S TRACK & FIELD
