STERLING LIMOUSINE AND TRANSPORTATION
OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Dylan McKenzie, Springfield TownshipThe senior running back put his name in the program record books in Springfield Township’s 50-24 win over William Tennent. McKenzie not only carried the ball 33 times for a program record 354 yards and six touchdowns, he also handled the kicking duties on kickoffs and played safety on defense for the shorthanded Spartans, who had 15 players on injured reserve.

Coach Chris Shelly says: “Unbelievable game – never been done. I’ve been around – I played in the 80s, and we’ve never had a kid do that. We had a quarterback account for six touchdowns in a game – three or four passes and two runs, but this has never been done. We knew coming in – this was playoffs on the line, do or die, and we wanted to put the ball in the hands of our best dude. He’s just come so far.”

Nazye Boggs, Plymouth Whitemarsh – The junior defensive back returned the opening kickoff 89 yards for a touchdown, effectively setting the tone for a big night in Plymouth Whitemarsh’s 56-20 rout of Upper Moreland. That turned out to be just the beginning, Boggs also blocked an extra point, and on defense, he had an interception and forced fumble.

Coach Dan Chang says:  Nazye had a stellar game on all sides of the ball. He is a kid who is so dynamic with the ball in his hands. He could score at any time.
