Qualifying for the finals in the 4x400m Abington girls won the gold! Team members Jenny Ryan,Jordan Matthews,
Nicole Grasty and Leah Nuggent clocked a winning time of 3:48.44. Central Bucks West girls (Elizabeth Scafuro,Alex Gervais,Sherry BenJoseph and Laura Gundy) came in 5th in a time of 3:55.82, Central Bucks East (Lauren Egan,Sharon Daniels,Cara Hughes and Ali Gillen)finished 7th with a time of 3:59.83. All of the teams clocked a district one qualifying time.
In the tri State finals for the 4x100m relay, first place went to Columbia NJ in a time of 47.52.
Finishing third were the Abington girls Jordan Matthews,Nicole Grosty,Jennifer Ryan and Leah Nuggent in a time of 47.99. Central Bucks East (Lauren Egan,Liz Daniels, Ali Gillen and Cara Hughes) were a close 4th in a time of 48.00 making for a very competitive finish!
