Abington senior long stick midfielder Anthony Greco had committed to play Division III lacrosse at Cabrini College.

Greco was a First Team Suburban One National Conference pick for the Ghosts last year, helping them claim a fourth straight league crown and reach the District 1 semifinals with a 19-4 record.
Greco, who played in the adidas National Lacrosse Classic last year and made the Eastern Pennsylvania Scholastic Lacrosse Association Showcase the past two years, plays club lacrosse for LB3.
He plans to major in Criminal Justice at Cabrini.
“I chose Cabrini because I felt the school and the team were a great fit for me and my family,” said Greco. “I felt at home when I went for my overnight visit. Once I meet coach (Steve) Colfer I knew I wanted to play at Cabrini.”
Colfer has led the Cavaliers to nine straight Colonial State Athletic Conference championships and eight consecutive appearances in the Division III tournament.
Greco, who served as a captain for Abington last year, helped the team advance to the state tournament where it fell to La Salle, in a heartbreaking one-goal loss. This year Greco believes the Ghosts again will be a district and state contender.
Greco also wished to thank Abington head coach Randy McNeil and LB3 coaches John Banks and J.P. Banks for their support.
