Athletes Helping Athletes, in cooperation with Council Rock School District, will be holding its 8th Annual Golf Tournament on Sunday, October 4, at Northampton Valley Country Club. Proceeds of the outing will support Special Olympics and Special Needs Programs of Bucks County.
The cost for the day of golf is $125 with registration to be held at noon, followed by a light lunch and a shotgun start at 1:30 p.m. A buffet dinner with an awards presentation will be held following golf, and a silent auction and raffle will also be held. There will be team prizes as well as prizes for the longest drive and closest to the pin. Dinner guests may attend the banquet at a cost of $40 per person.
Sponsorship participation is also encouraged with the following options:
1) A GOLD corporate sponsorship available for $1,000, which includes a foursome of golf, green and cart fees, lunch and dinner as well as company name and logo on tee and sign recognition at reception.
2) The SILVER corporate sponsorship is $500 and includes a twosome of golf, green and cart fees, lunch and dinner as well as company name and logo on tee and sign recognition at reception.
3) A Tee Sponsorship is available for $125 and includes a listing of company/family name.
In seven years, Athletes Helping Athletes, Inc. has raised over $140,000! The organization exists to provide both financial assistance through fundraising as well as community support for the special athletes through their inclusion in local school athletic functions, including the opportunity to serve as Honorary Team Captains at home games.
Athletes Helping Athletes believes that a world of greater acceptance for all can begin with our children, sharing athletic experiences and a love for sport while developing compassion and mutual respect.
