On behalf of the Upper Moreland ice hockey club squad, Jim Goebel, president of the club, presented The Battle of the Border Trophy to Upper Moreland Principal Joe Roy on Tuesday afternoon. Upper Moreland received the trophy after defeating Hatboro-Horsham 7-1 in ‘The Battle of the Border’ showdown earlier this season. The trophy is awarded each year to the winner of that contest between the neighboring schools. Hatboro-Horsham, a 5-3 winner in last year’s game, had the trophy in its possession for the past year.
