Associate head coach Sean Ruhren: “We are still missing a few of our starting defense. It was great seeing the chemistry between players. The freshman and sophomores did not show any signs of intimidation.  Many of these players put in a lot of work in the off-season and it shows.
"Kyle Crump is by far one of the top goalies in the state and showed it with his 12 saves and consistent clears. Kyle had a lot of great support around him with LPs Cole, Quinn, Charlie Hussa, Rory DiJoseph, Noah Johnson. Also contributing was SSDMs Matt Frankenfield, Andrew Rowan, and Quasir Sampson.  Nolan Reilly dominated last year in league play as a freshman and he continued in his first game this season. We asked to see more consistent play with our older players in Pounds and Brogan. I think they are starting to settle in well.”
--Props: “We have some new players join us this year and are starting to contribute.”

Up next: The Trojans will host Archbishop Wood at 5 pm Sunday.
