PENNSBURY 12, COUNCIL ROCK NORTH 7
Jaden Beach made 10 saves as Pennsbury put together a solid effort all over the field to earn a hard-fought 12-7 victory over Council Rock North in Wednesday’s National Conference game.
John Curtis scored 6 goals to lead the Falcons, who led early, but North battled back to send the game into halftime tied at 5-5. Pennsbury pulled away with 4 unanswered goals in the third quarter.

Pennsbury coach Dean Curtis: “It’s always a battle when we play Council Rock North. We jumped out to an early lead, but we knew they would fight back. Coming out of halftime, we made a few adjustments in the clear and just played more patiently. Brad Hill came up big at the faceoff dot as well, controlling possession in the third to help us get ahead.

Souderton scored 6 goals in the second quarter to break open a close game and hold off Central Bucks West for a 12-7 victory in Wednesday’s National Conference game.
Logan Blair’s five-goal effort led the Indians while Michael Rafalowski led the Bucks with 2 goals and 3 assists.

Emerson Morelli and Caiden Myers each scored 4 goals and had 1 assist to power North Penn to a 15-6 victory over Neshaminy in Wednesday’s National Conference matchup.
Justin Urbinati won 9 faceoffs to help the Knights gain possession throughout the game.

PLYMOUTH WHITEMARSH 11, UPPER MORELAND 8

On Wednesday afternoon, Plymouth Whitemarsh won a closely contested league game against Upper Moreland 11-8. Trailing 6 to 8 at the half, the Colonials' defense held the Bears scoreless in the second half, allowing the offense to score five goals to take the lead and win the contest. 
The defensive effort was led by seniors Isaiah Bainbridge (4CTO, 15GB, 4 for 4 FO), Jackson Budin (5CTO, 4GB), and Dylan Imperial (2CTO, 2GB). The trio combined for over 20 ground balls and 11 caused turnovers, highlighted by a dominant ground ball performance by Bainbridge, who had 15 ground balls. Junior Alex Frangiosa (3CTO, 2GB) also contributed with 3 caused turnovers and 2 ground balls.
Senior midfielders Hayden Domers (1CTO, 6GB) and Luke LaViola (2G, 1A, 1 CTO, 6GB) played complete two-way games to assist both the defensive and offensive efforts. LaViola played a complete game by scoring 2 goals, having an assist, a caused turnover, and 6 ground balls.
The offensive effort was led by junior attackman Owen Cababe (3G, 2GB), who had a hat trick, and seniors Caiden Lesczcynski (2G, 1CTO, 2GB) and LaViola, who each had 2 goals. Junior attackman/midfielder Jack Cooper also had two goals. Senior attackman Scott Marguiles (1G, 2A) and junior midfielder Drew Strohl (1G, 1A) each had a goal apiece.

Six different players scored for Hatboro-Horsham in a 10-6 victory over Cheltenham in Wednesday’s American Conference game.
Cooper Beardsley scored 3 goals to lead the Hatters, who scored 5 unanswered goals in the first quarter and took a 9-1 lead into halftime.

It was the consistent performance again from Wissahickon’s Nolan Reilly at the faceoff circle (13-for-17) and Kyle Crump in goal that lifted the Trojans to a 12-2 win over New Hope-Solebury on Wednesday.
In the first quarter, Nolan Pounds (1 goal, 3 assists) initiated the goals by dodging the alley and passing off to an open Chase Comer and Kyle Intal. In addition to Comer’s hat trick, Link Matozzo scored 2 goals and added 1 assist. Matozzo and his fellow attack made it very difficult on New Hope to clear the ball.
Austin Myers, Cash Whitehead, Luke Slobotkin, Comer,  Matozzo, and Intal combined for nearly a dozen caused turnovers on the attack ride.

Matthew Shohen and Nate Brown each registered 6 points as Upper Dublin rolled past Quakertown 19-4 in Wednesday’s American Conference matchup. Shohen led the Cards with 4 goals, while Brown’s 3 assists were a team high.
Ben Shervin made 7 saves to earn the win in the cage for the Cardinals. Joey Sirianni and Aarush Pillai combined to win 13 of 24 faceoffs.

Thomas Williams and Michael Smallwood each posted 5-point games as Central Bucks East took to the road to defeat nonleague opponent Boyertown 16-5 on Wednesday.
On the defensive end, Ben Bridegum scooped up 13 ground balls and caused a pair of turnovers, while goalkeeper Ben Snyder recorded 15 saves.
In all, the Patriots nabbed 46 ground balls and caused 11 turnovers.
