Sean Sheridan gave the Redskins a 1-0 lead at the half, and Luke McIlvaine put the exclamation on the win with a pair of second-half goals.
Keeper Austin Brotman faced six shots.
“He was efficient back there,” said coach Rich Reice. “Fortunately he didn’t have to be spectacular.”
In part because of the superb play of marking backs Rich Schafer and Jared Dixon.
“This was one of our best efforts all year,” said Reice.
Neshaminy is now 10-4-1 overall and 8-4 in the National. The Redskins still have an outside chance of earning a share of the title.

Kimber Kisselback scored a pair of goals, including the game winner, and contributed an assist to lead the Redskins.
Megan Schafer added a goal and an assist, while Erin Farrell and Kacey Gerankowski chipped in single tallies. Megan Kelley and Amy Gallagher were also credited with assists.

Continental Conference
Boys
Central Bucks East 2, Central Bucks South 1 (2OT)
The Patriots took over first place with the victory. South led for a majority of the game, but with just a second left in regulation, Mike Gleason drilled the ball into the net to tie the game.
Eric Vare scored the game winner on an assist from Miguel Diaz in the second overtime.
“It was a hard-fought game,” said East coach Mike Gorni.
It was the Patriots’ second 2-1 win over their district rival.
East is now 7-3-3 overall and 7-2-3 in the Continental.
Souderton 2, Pennridge 1
Central Bucks West 2, Hatboro-Horsham 1
Girls
Central Bucks East 3, Central Bucks South 3, 2OT
It was the Patriots’ 10th overtime game of the year but certainly a moral victory, especially since South went up 3-1 in the second half.
East freshman Miranda Meehan scored the first goal to tie the game at one apiece early in the second half on an assist from Nicole Panella.
Panella then took over the game scoring the next two goals, her final one a PK with about 15 minutes left in regulation.
“We’ve never scored this many goals,” said coach Paul Eishold. “They really opened up.”
The snake-bitten Patriots have yet to win a game this year, but as Eishold said, “We’re keeping everything close. They don’t quit, and we’re only getting better. We’re starting to see daylight.”
At one point in the game, Eishold had five freshmen on the field.
The Patriots are now 0-8-7 overall and 0-8-4 in the Continental.
“Our record doesn’t show how well we played throughout the season,” said Eishold.
Pennridge 2, Souderton 0
Maggie Butcher broke a 0-0-halftime tie, taking a pass from her sister Ashley and burying a shot five minutes into the second half.
Shannon Chynoweth finished Stevi Parker’s corner kick 15 minutes later for the insurance goal.

American Conference
Boys
Cheltenham 6, Norristown 0
The Panthers bounced back after a disheartening 1-0 overtime loss to Plymouth Whitemarsh. They are now 1-6 in one-goal games.
“We’ve been in every game,” said coach Nick Zegestowsky.
The game was suspended with about 20 minutes left due to sloppy field conditions.
David Goldberg led Cheltenham with a pair of goals, while Jake Aronson, Mike Oh, Danny Marsden and Christos Yianstos scored single goals.
The Panthers pumped in two goals in the first 46 seconds of play.
Cheltenham is now 7-7 overall and 6-4 in the conference. If the Panthers win three of their last four games, they may put themselves in position for a district playoff berth.
Wissahickon 7, Upper Merion 0
The Trojans certainly had no letdown after their big 3-0 win over Father Judge Monday.
Joe Farrell exploded on offense with four goals. Nick Nikic, Brandon Ervine and James Annobil added insurance goals.
Erik Riefenstahl earned the shutout in goal with three saves.
The Trojans are now 14-0-1 overall and 10-0 in the league.
