CB South Lax Volunteers at SPCA

The Central Bucks South girls' lacrosse team volunteered its time at the Bucks County SPCA.

It’s the time of the season for giving, and the Central Bucks South girls’ lacrosse team gave up a Saturday in early December to volunteer their time to clean and also decorate the entire facility at the Bucks County SPCA for Christmas.

“I have a passion for animals and asked my team if they wanted to volunteer at the SPCA in Lahaska,” coach Janique Craig said. “They were really excited about helping and also getting the chance to play with the animals. I think it’s nice for the team to do charity work, especially over the holiday season.”

The team’s contribution was timely since the SPCA – which facilitates many pet adoptions over the holidays - needed assistance getting ready for its annual open house. The SPCA, according to Craig, is always in need of donations or volunteers.
