Coach Patrick Fleury says: “His success is a testament obviously to his hard work and the hard work of his family but also his teammates to be able to sacrifice their individual success for team success. To see him receive an honor which could have been a couple of our guys is amazing. To be recognized is amazing for our community and our younger students to show them it’s possible, and there’s definitely new heights and accolades we all want for each other, and we’re just going to continue to push. This is a testament to the work of a kid who can stay the course and receive high honors. It’s just amazing for him to be recognized and the team also to share in that success and also the coaches on our staff – they also are honored in the award.”
