CR North Track/XC College Choices

Council Rock North gave special recognition to athletes who will be competing at the collegiate level on Monday. Below is a list of track and field/cross country athletes who will be taking their talents to the next level.

Juliann Fricke, University of Maryland
Julie is a two-time all-league selection in cross country, and she was the Bucks County Courier Times Runner of the Year in 2007. Julie earned three track league titles in 2009 and was the District One champion in the 1600. Julie completed a very hard double at the PIAA State Track Championships, placing fourth in both the 1600 and 800. She is the school record holder in the 800.
 
Stu Fram, Middlebury College (Vermont)
Stu is a two-time conference champion in the 110 high hurdles and District One champion in the 110 high hurdles. He was second in the state in the 110 high hurdles. He also was the conference champion in the 300 IH and high jump. He holds the school record for the 110 high hurdles. Stu was a co-captain in both indoor and outdoor seasons his senior year.
 
Sheera Rosenbaum, Haverford College
Sheera is a four-year team member, earning varsity letters for two seasons. She is a National Merit Commended Student and is class valedictorian.
 
Dan Wallace, Cornell University
Dan was a first team SOL selection, a first team District One and first team PIAA in cross country. He was a co-captain of the cross country team. He is a National Merit Semifinalist.
 
Steve Pope, University of Delaware
Steve was a first team SOL selection in cross country.
 
Bill Naylon, West Chester University
Bill was an SOL National Conference champion in the shot put. He also was a state finalist in the shot put.
 
Atasha Jordan, Harvard University
Atasha is a four-year varsity athlete, earning letters in both track and field as well as volleyball. Atasha is a three-time all-league selection and earned league titles in both shot put and discus. She was a 2009 state qualifier in shot put and also holds the school record in that event. Atasha is a National Commended Student and was named Scholar Athlete of the Year.
 
Jessica Micciolo, American University
Jessica is a four-year team member who earned varsity letters in both swimming, track and cross country. She received the 3D Award for dedication, drive and determination during the 2008 cross country season. Jessica also is a National Merit Finalist.
 
Lauren Reilly, Denison University
Lauren is a four-year team member, competing in cross country, indoor track and spring track. She also competed in crew.
 
Brittany Reinard, Florida Institute of Technology
Brittany is a four-year team member who earned cross country ‘Rookie of the Year’ in her freshman season. She is very involved in student government and has been a class officer for three years.
 
Bridget Tull, LaSalle University
Bridget is a four-year team member who competed in the PIAA Cross Country Championships in her junior and senior seasons. She was an all-league selection in cross country and qualified for the district championships in track and field.
 
Katie Storm, Gettysburg College
Katie competed on the cross country team for four years, earning the Most Improved Award in both her junior and senior seasons. She was a district qualifier in track and field and is a National Merit Commended Student.
