Council Rock South Downs CB West

The Council Rock South Golden Hawks proved once again why they're among the best AA teams in the State with a one-sided 11-1 victory over CB West on Friday night.  West got off to a good start taking an early 1-0 lead on a goal by senior forward, Andrew McNally, assisted by freshman Austin Siemion and senior Nate Routier.  But, Council Rock's Patrick Grilli tied the game 3 minutes later on assists by Tyler Dietrick and Pete Malamud and from that point on it was all Rock.  The Golden Hawks followed with more 4 first period goals en route to the victory.  Rock was led by Pete Malamud's 8-point night (3 goals; 5 assists) and 3 goals by forward, Jon Houk.  Next up for both teams are Thanksgiving Eve rivalry games on November 25th with CR South facing CR North for the American Division lead and CB West taking on District rival CB East ...
