They were evaluated based on criteria that includes: football performance, academics, and community service.

On this year’s honorees, Maxwell Football Club Executive Director, Mark Wolpert, said “This is our second consecutive year honoring young women who are pioneering girls flag football in our region. They are an exceptional class of student athletes who will represent the Mini Max Award very well, and their dedication and effort on and off the football field is incredibly impressive. With the emergence of girl’s flag football, there are new opportunities that will provide great learning experiences for the participants and this group on Mini Max winners will act as standard bearers for those who follow them in the future. On behalf of the entire Board of Directors and all the members of the Maxwell Football Club, we congratulate and salute this exceptional group of student-athletes on being 2025 Mini-Max Award winners and wish them much success in their future endeavors.”
