HATBORO-HORSHAM 2019 LADY HATTER GIRLS GOLF INVITATIONAL
The Hatboro-Horsham Lady Hatter Golf Team hosted their annual Lady Hatter Invitational golf tournament at Talamore CC on Thursday, August 15, to kick-off the 2019 golf season. The six-team event was played on the front nine (par 35) at Talamore. Downingtown East ran away with the team title posting a score of 180 (4-players). Spring-Ford was second with 197 with solid depth.
Hosts, H-H finished fourth with a score of 213 led by Sheila Fisher’s 49 (10th place). Central Bucks East (222), without standout Sara Scarpill, finished just behind the Hatters in fifth. Phoenixville’s Morgan Frampton won the gold medal posting a 42. Frampton won on a match of cards over DTE’s Ava O’Sullivan, who also carded a 42 to take the silver medal.
H-H will open Pioneer Athletic Conference play on Monday versus Boyertown at Twin Ponds.
CB East will remain in the SOL without a league schedule, and will play an independent schedule.
