  National Conference KickNWear Player of the Week
 
Erhan Selvi – Senior midfielder from Council Rock South.
 
Notable Accomplishment:
Selvi is Council Rock South’s leading scorer with six goals, and he made several major contributions to this amount last week. He scored the game-winning goals against Abington and Council Rock North, with the latter being an overtime winner. Overall, in CR South’s last four contests, Selvi has scored three game-winning goals.
 
Note from the Coach:
“Erhan has great size, skill, energy, and field awareness. He is also an outstanding leader on and off the field.  Erhan thrives on the challenges of this competitive league schedule, and as a four-year varsity player, his experience is really showing,” says CR South coach, Alan Nicholl.

Best soccer memory: Scoring the game-winner against North on Saturday night!!
Part of the game I enjoy most: Intensity of the last 10 minutes of a close game

Continental Conference KickNWear Player of the Week
 
Shane Donovan – Senior goalkeeper from Central Bucks East.
 
Notable Accomplishment:
After recording a remarkable 16 shutouts last season, Donovan missed the first month of this season with a major hip injury. However, he came back with a vengeance last week, getting a shutout in his first game back against Central Bucks West. Donovan then went on to lead his team to victory against Central Bucks South, allowing only one goal.
 
Note from the Coach:
“I can’t think of a more deserving kid after getting injured at the beginning of his senior season and coming back the way that he did. He immediately added confidence to the team,” notes CB East head coach, Mike Gorni.
 
About Shane:
Favorite Professional Soccer Player: Tim Howard
Best Soccer Memory: Beating William Tennent 2-0 in the third round of the 2009 playoffs to reach district final four and qualify for states.
Part of the game I enjoy the most: Saving a breakaway or a penalty kick
My role models are: Reen and Gregg Donovan (my parents)
Musical artist that gets me pumped up before a game: Eminem

American Conference KickNWear Player of the Week
 
Brian Schaefer – Sophomore midfielder from Upper Dublin.
 
Notable Accomplishment:
Brian Schaefer scored the game-winning goal against Norristown in the 72nd minute and a game-tying goal in the 73rd minute against Upper Moreland. His skills allow him to work well under pressure, and he’s contributed significantly to the Flying Cardinals’ wins so far both defensively and offensively.
 
Note from the Coach:
"Schaefer is an outstanding player and a pleasure to work with as an individual...any team would be fortunate to have him playing for them," said his coach, Rick Schmidt.
 
About Brian:
Favorite professional soccer player: Bastian Schweinsteiger
Best soccer memory: When I was younger, we played in an indoor tournament at the Far Post. At the beginning of the day, we had six players. When we reached the final, we had only five players left, and we were still able to win the championship.
Part of the game I enjoy most: Defending an attack from the opposing team
My role models are: My parents
Musical artist that gets me pumped before games: Eminem
