National Conference KickNWear Player of the Week
 
MaryKate Callahan - Senior defender from Council Rock South High School
 
Notable Accomplishment:
Callahan is a senior captain who has helped keep Council Rock South’s opponents off the scoreboard.  She was instrumental to her team’s success against Harry S. Truman and William Tennant, two teams that combined to score a total of one goal against CR South.  Callahan has come up big several times in her position as a central defender. 
 
Note from the Coach:
“MaryKate is like the state she lives in!  She is our Keystone in our defense! She displays consistency which is contagious among other players,” says CR South coach John Oberholtzer.
 
About MaryKate:
Favorite professional soccer player: Brandi Chastain
Best soccer memory: Our team’s pasta parties during the State playoffs and painting Council Rock North’s rock my freshman year.
Part of the game I enjoy most:  At the very beginning of the game during tap because it’s when the two teams are completely facing each other, both of them gearing up to give their all and leave everything on the field in order to win. 
My role model is: One of my best friends and one of CR South’s former goalies, Nicole Ulrick.
Musical artist that gets me pumped before games: Super Mash Bros. and Kanye West

Continental Conference KickNWear Player of the Week
 
Kelly Clark - Senior defender from Central Bucks West High School
 
Notable Accomplishment:
Kelly Clark had a very strong week for CB West last week. She led the defense that posted three shutout wins against Souderton, Quakertown, and Upper Dublin.Clark anchors a young defense with a freshman, a sophomore, and a junior, and she has really taken charge in the defensive end. This is her second year as the Bucks’ center back, and she’s taken on much more responsibility in organizing the defense.
 
Note from the Coach:
According to her coach, Chris Freudig, “She has done a great job teaching the younger girls defensivee calls and formations changes and is a big reason for our early success.”

American Conference KickNWear Player of the Week
 
Zoe Gomez - Freshman forward from Wissahickon High School
 
Notable Accomplishment:
Earlier last week, Gomez was called up from the JV squad because of injuries to two starting seniors and immediately made an offensive impact. The week she was called up to varsity she scored three goals in two days, with all three being pivotal for her team’s success. She scored twice in her varsity debut against Quakertown, including the game winner with under two minutes to play. The very next day Gomez again scored the game winner in overtime against Plymouth Whitemarsh.
 
Note from the Coach:
“Zoe provided an exciting offensive spark to the team. She is an aggressive player that has a knack for finding the back of the net,” notes Wissahickon head coach Kevin Willis.
 
About Zoe:
Favorite professional soccer player: Mia Hamm
Best soccer memory: My indoor travel team went undefeated and won the championships.
Part of the game I enjoy most: Being part of a team
My role models are: Jen Duckenfield, my Ultimate Lacrosse coach, and Beau Gomez, my older brother who is going to the Naval Academy to play lacrosse.
Musical artists that get me pumped before games: Eminem and Coldplay
