According to a press release from the Council Rock North athletic department on Wednesday, head baseball coach Dan Kusters’ contract was not renewed for the 2010-11 school year.
“In the opinion of the school administration, it was in the best interest of our athletes to move in a different direction,” the release said. “Coach Kusters had a successful tenure on the field, and we wish to thank him for his service to Council Rock North and to the players in his program.”
This past spring, Kusters led the Indians to an SOL National Conference title as well as a District One Class AAAA crown. Rock North compiled a 23-3 record.
