VARSITY BOYS: Despite Colonials Taking 2 of 3 Bowling Games, Eagles Earn Split 2-2 Victory by 79
NORRISTOWN (PA)- Plymouth Whitemarsh took on "visiting" Norristown in PW's final regular season home match in 2010-2011on Monday February 7, 2011. Norristown earned a convincing 1,083- 908 game 1 victory over the Colonials behind John Mill's 241 and also Matt Grayauskie's; Kyle Hatfield converted a nifty 5-9 split in the tenth frame to lead the Colonials with 236. John Mill showed frustration in game 2 and game 3, both Norristown defeats; the Colonials took game 2, 982-1,018, and were victorious in the third set, 948-1,008. Grayauskie started the second game for the Eagles with 6 consecutive strikes, enabling "Gray" to complete 245; Pat Galleo led the Colonials in the second set with 234 (Galleo finished with a 618 series), plus Hatfield rolled to 207. Andrew Rexroth earned a hard-core 244 for PW in the third set, in which Grayauskie earned another 201.
This match did not account as PW's Senior Match because coach Jeff Blizzard arranged Senior Recognition for 2/9/2011 after their away match at Thunderbird Willow Grove against Upper Dublin to conclude the 2010-2011 campaign. Norristown wins the season series against the Colonials, 5-3.

VARSITY GIRLS: O'Connor, Lady Eagles Show Lady Colonials how to "Do Work" in 4-0 Sweep
NORRISTOWN, PA-Plymouth Whitemarsh took on "visiting" Norristown in PW's final regular season home match in 2010-2011 on Monday February 7, 2011. However, Norristown's Caitlyn O'Connor felt comfortable in her usual confines, even tabbed as the "visitor" in Norristown's 4-0 (2, 579- 2,216) sweep of the "host" Plymouth Whitemarsh Lady Colonials. O'Coonor, whose highest Saturday league action series at Facenda Whitaker was 586, had 200+ games for a 614 series; 200 in game 1, 170 in game 2, and started game 3 with 6 consecutive strikes to finish with a flourish to compile 244. During the Lady Eagles' 891-786 game 1 victory, O'Connor's 200 was accompanied by the 215 from Sara Kinsey's younger sister, Emily Kinsey; PW Senior Lauren Enslin achieved 180, and Senior Dani Rosenberg's 182 paced PW. Taylor Copestick, who plays catcher for the varsity Lady Eagles Softball squad in the spring, compiled 197 in the second set, finishing with 528. Although O'Connor outshined almost every competitor in the third set, Nikki Martini had a believed 147+ for a 436 series for the Lady Colonials.

Norristown wins the season series against the Lady Colonials, 7-1, which includes seven consective game victories ( Norristown lost to PW, 841-839 in their first of eight games in the 2010-2011 season).
