North Penn @ Southeast Classic Tournament - 12/12/2009

For the Varsity line up -
103 pound – Freshman newcomer Joey O'Brien took 6th place.

119 pound - Ervin Gaitan took 7th place
125 pound - Evan Conti took 7th place
130 pound - Tyler Ramano took 2nd place

140 pound - Nick Gallagher took 8th place
152 pound - Randy Haun took 2nd place due to an injury fall. He was undefeated until re-injuring his right elbow in the top of the 2nd period.

171 pound - Will Bachert took 5th place
181 pound - New comer and freshman George Shipp took 6th place

For the Junior Varsity line up -
Kenny Randleman (140) and Gregg Lacoff (130 pound) both took first for their class.

Overall, the tournament was very exciting for all our guys,and they worked very hard. Conditioning did not seem to be an issue for any of our wrestlers as they all had steam to fight hard with every match.

This weekend was a great way to kick off the season for the wrestlers and gives the coaches additional direction for areas to focus training. We are all excited about making this year a year for a comeback of the Knights!
