North Penn vs. Plymouth-Whitemarsh Bowling Results – 01-31-2011

  Earl Bowl, Earlington

VARSITY BOYS - Plymouth Whitemarsh Colonials 1- North Penn Knights 3

EARLINGTON- Plymouth Whitemarsh visited lanes that were kryptonite to
them in the past on this 1/31/2011 in the Earl Bowl. PW's Dave Duncan
against North Penn would have told you otherwise in the first and second
games, rolling five consecutive strikes to begin in each game 1 and game
2. Andrew Rexroth, a PW junior, was promoted from JV to varsity in the
third game, and rolled strikes in all but the seventh frame for a 277, a
PW 2010-2011 indiviual season high. Pat Galleo scored 251 in a
highly-battle third set for PW that was ultimately grabbed by host North
Penn, 1008-1048. Overall, North Penn defeated visiting PW 1-3.
VARSITY GIRLS - Plymouth Whitemarsh Lady Colonials 0- North Penn Maidens 4

EARLINGTON- On this 1/41/2011, with the new month of February 2011
approaching, Plymouth Whitemarsh head coach Jeff Blizzard had to insert
Nikki Martini and Gabbi Gioia in the starting lineup because senior Dani
Rosenberg and freshman Jamie Pugielli were feeling under the weather.
Despite the replacment, the PW efforts were still not enough for a
perennial league contender in North Penn as the Maidens defeated the
visiting Lady Colonials 0-4. Martini's highest game was 163 in game 1,
but Lauren Enslin had the highest PW score with 187 in the third set.
North Penn won the third game with 947 pins, with 200+ scores from
Brittany George and Jenna Thomas.
