NP wins Spring-Ford Tournament with a record of 9-2   - Sept 10, 2011

NP showed their heart by coming back 3 times with a deficit of 6 or more points including the final game. North Penn defeated Academy Park, Downingtown West, and split with Conestoga and Schuylkill Valley to earn a bye into the first round of playoffs. NP would go on to bury the  defending AA district 3  champs, Schuylkill Valley 25 to 21 in a one game semi final match. The Maidens would go on to capture the first varsity tournament championship in school history by defeating Conestoga in a best of 3 match, 25/17, and a come from behind 12 to 19 score to win a 26 to 24 grueling game filled with high light after high light. North Penn was lead by setter Kendra Allen with 11 kills, 2 aces, 14 digs, and 86 assists on the day. Also leading the Maidens was Junior Stephanie Elechko with 8 aces, 22 kills, 8 solo blocks, 8 digs and chimed in for 2 assists. Isabelle Kerr lead the offense with 24 kills. Courtney Gill continues her role of a surprise weapon with 18 kills, 10 aces, and 6 digs. There were many of second chance points created by libero Alyssa Chiodo who dug up 29 digs, and 6 aces. Alyssa lead the Maidens with a 2.69 passing percentage which is better then a coach could hope for.
