Haverford School retained the No. 1 spot in the All Schools division of the PA Media Boys’ Lacrosse Rankings released today.
Conestoga continued to hold the top spot in the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association (PIAA) division.
Haverford School (8-0), which defeated St. Joseph’s Prep in overtime on Saturday, received all nine first-place votes in the All-Schools poll and had 90 points. Conestoga, which remained undefeated by claiming three wins last week, had all nine first-place votes and 90 points in the PIAA poll.
Each week a panel of journalists from around the state and the Mid-Atlantic region will rank the top teams. The panel includes Chris Goldberg of Phillylacrosse.com, Jimmy Oliver of LaxPower, Brett Manney of ESPN RISE, Dennis C. Way of the Norristown Times Herald, Scott Johnston of the Lehigh Valley Press, Rick Woelfel of the Doylestown Intelligencer, Karen Sangillo of the Bucks County Courier Times, Matt Breen of the Philadelphia Inquirer and Matthew Blymier of the Lancaster Intelligencer.
