The SOL/BAL softball squad was recognized at Citizens Bank Park for capturing the Carpenter Cup championship.
The SOL/BAL softball team made history this year when it captured its first ever Carpenter Cup, and both players and coaches were recognized prior to the Philadelphia Phillies game at Citizens Bank Park on Monday, Aug. 6, 2012. The players were taken onto the field where they were introduced individually with their picture appearing on the Phanavision. They were greeted by the Phillie Phanatic and remained on the field along the first baseline for the National Anthem prior to the Phillies game.
