Dom Procaccino and Jake Gum, who guttered on his first roll in the fifth frame, followed Dioro as each deposited 185. In achieving 204, Diorio collected seven strikes, two spares, and two opens. Three-hole Mark Gomelsky paced the Hatters with 182 and two-hole Tom Best tallied 181.
Lefthander John Hansel joined the 200-game club with 203 in leading the Colonials to a 907-818 win in game two. Hansel tallied six strikes and two spares while he opened in frames nine and 10. Gum marked in every frame (four strikes an seven spares) by achieving 196. Tom Best marked in his final three frames to lead the Hatters with 188 and anchor Sean Campbell rolled strikes in frames six through nine for 182.
