CENTRAL BUCKS EAST 6, PENNSBURY 1

The Falcons held a 31-27 advantage in shots.
Cole Breen made that advantage meaningless, turning away 30 of 31 shots in a brilliant outing in goal for the Patriots.
The Patriots’ goalie gave a preview of things to come in an opening quarter that saw Pennsbury hold a 12-10 edge in shots, but the Patriots – thanks to a goal by Corey Kosick (Jaden Young assist) – led 1-0 after one.
East scored three unanswered goals in the second period. David Brown scored a short-handed goal with an assist from Kosick early in the period, and five minutes later, Gavin Widmer scored with assists from Alex Wilson and Samuel Gottesman. A goal by Young in the final minute of the period with a Gavin Widmer assist put the Patriots on top 4-0.
The Falcons broke up East’s shutout big when Christopher Sarver scored an unassisted goal one minute into the third period. Young (Alex Wilson assist) and Ethan Cenci (Drew Trask/Charlie Keiser assists) each added a goal for the 6-1 final.

BENSALEM 11, HATBORO-HORSHAM/UPPER DUBLIN 7
Alex Hood scored seven goals and two assists for a nine-point game, and teammate Alex Bazylevich had a hand in five goals - scoring three goals and assisting on two others - to lead the Owls to the win in Thursday’s high-scoring contest.
Bazylevich scored back-to-back goals to open the game, but Hatboro-Horsham/Upper Dublin answered with three straight goals – one each from Kevin McGinly, William Joffa and Darius Graziani. A goal by Hood late in the period evened the score 3-3.
Hood made it three in a row with back-to-back goals to open the second period to put the Owls on top 5-3. Darius Graziani broke Hood’s personal run with a goal for H-H/UD, but two minutes later, Hood answered with an unassisted goal, and then it was Matthew Rowan and Hood closing out the period with goals that sent Bensalem into the final period with an 8-4 lead.
Bazylevich scored a short-handed goal with 10:40 remaining to up that lead to 9-4, but H-H/UD’s Nathan Nemchinov and Moffa each scored a goal – Moffa’s on the power play – to trim the Owls’ lead to 9-6. Hood wasn’t finish yet and scored his sixth and seventh goals before Kevin McGinly scored in the closing seconds for H-H/UD for the 11-7 final.
Ricky Gonzalez earned the win in goal for the Owls.

SOUDERTON 10, NESHAMINY 0
Maxwell Ryon scored six goals and assisted on another while teammate Seth Grossman had two goals and assisted on four others to lead the Indians to the no-doubt-about it win over the Redskins.
Benjamin Fadden scored less than a minute into the game with an assist from Grossman for a goal that stood as the game-winner. Ryon followed that with three straight goals – Grossman assisted on the first and second, Matthew Malanga also assisted on the second, and Caden O’Neill assisted on the third, and the Indians led 4-0 heading into the second period.
Ryon opened the second half with his fourth goal, this one assisted by Grossman and Malanga, and then it was Drew Savarese scoring an unassisted goal. Back-to-back goals by Grossman – the first assisted by Maxwell Ryon and the second assisted by Fadden. Ryon closed out an outstanding offensive performance with back-to-back goals. Sean Ryon assisted on both. Fadden also was credited with an assist on the second goal.
Connor Paulus turned away all eight shots he faced in the shutout win in goal for the Indians.

NORTH PENN 6, SOUDERTON 5
In a tightly contested SHSHL game, it was the Knights rallying from an early 3-1 hole to earn the come-from-behind win. The Knights led 5-4 heading into the final period only to see Souderton’s Cameron Fairweather score the equalizer with 10 minutes remaining, using assists from Matthew Cross and Nicholas Smith.
North Penn’s Cole Pluck scored a goal that turned out to be the game-winner with 2:30 remaining. Samuel Norton and Nolan Shingle contributed assists.
Earlier, things looked promising for the Indians. Maxwell Ryon scored in the opening minutes of the game with assists from Benjamin Fadden and Seth Grossman. John Stinson scored the equalizer for the Knights, but the Indians answered with goals by Ryon (Grossman/Sean Ryon assists) and Fadden (Matthew Malanga/Grossman assists) to go on top 3-1 with 4:31 remaining in the period. An unassisted goal by Joseph Silvotti made it a 3-2 game at the end of the period.
Back-to-back goals by Pluck (unassisted) and Luke Haftel (Pluck/Shingle assists) to open the second period put the Knights on top 4-3. Souderton’s Maxwell Ryon evened the score with a power play goal with assists from Benjamin Fadden and Smith, but NP’s Samuel Norton answered with a short-handed goal to go into the final period with a 5-4 lead, using a Pluck assist.
That set the stage for an exciting third period that saw the Knights eke out the win.
North Penn goalie Ian McAteer turned away 35 of the 40 shots he faced in a winning effort.

PENNRIDGE 11, COUNCIL ROCK NORTH 2
The Rams came out of the gate operating on all cylinders, putting five unanswered goals on the board in the opening period and never looking back. Pennridge opened up an 9-0 lead before the Indians got on the scoreboard. Kevin Pico’s five-point effort – two goals and three assists - led a balanced Rams’ attack that saw 12 players contribute toward 11 goals.
Shane Dachowski got the ball rolling with a goal just over six minutes into the game, using assists from Justin Dinsmore and Pico. Joshua Keller scored his first of two goals less than a minute later, and then it was Ian Brouse, Kelly and Andrew Savona scoring to close out the period.
The Golden Hawks opened the second period with a 4-0 run that included a pair of goals by Pico as well as single goals by James Rush and Colin Dachowski. Nicholas Hahn put the Indians on the board with back-to-back goals – the first with a Jackson Accardi assist and the second assisted by Ivan Bondra.
In the third period, Shane Dachowski and Dean Venner each scored a goal to close out the scoring.
Contributing three-point games for the Rams were Nolan Shaw (3a), Colin Dachowski (1g,2a), Shane Dachowski (2g,1a) and Savona (1g,2a). John Mikulich (2a), Dean Venner (1g,1a), Brouse (1g,1a), Kelly (2g) and Rush (1g,1a) each had two-point games.
Jacob Winton turned away 15 of 17 shots in a winning effort in goal for the Rams. Rock North’s Ian Goldberg recorded 49 saves in a busy outing in goal.

CENTRAL BUCKS SOUTH 9, NESHAMINY 1
Ryan Frey’s five-point game – which featured two goals and three assists – led the Titans while teammate DJ Lindenmuth added a goal and three assists for four points.
The Redskins - behind the 12-save effort of Neshaminy’s Colin Thurnau in goal – battled the Titans to a 1-1 tie after one period, but the Titans erupted for six unanswered goals in the second period to take control of the game.
In the opening period, Frey (Lindenmuth and Grant Boyne assists) and Neshaminy’s Aiden Gaspari (Jake Delaney assist) exchanged goals.
Sean Cutter’s unassisted power play goal just over a minute into the second period began an 8-0 tear to close out the game. Cutter added a second power play goal in the period that also included goals by Boyne, Colin Mendham, Lindenmuth and Aidan Linso that gave the Titans a 7-1 advantage .
In the third period, Alex Cannon and Boyne each added a goal for the 9-1 final.
Cutter (1g,2a) and Boyne (2g,1a) both had three point games while contributing a two-point game was Mendham (1g,1a).
Dominic Varacallo turned away 14 of 15 shots he faced to earn the win in goal for the Titans.

COUNCIL ROCK SOUTH 12, CENTRAL BUCKS WEST 1
Fourteen players contributed to Rock South’s 12 goals. Kevin Koles led the balanced Golden Hawk attack with three goals and two assists for a five-point game.
Daniel Filippov (Evan Mostoller assist) scored just over two minutes into the game, and that 1-0 score stood until West’s John Cherubini scored an unassisted goal with 6:53 remaining in the period to knot the score.
Jeremy Rayher (James Dilulio assist) answered with a goal 22 seconds later, and that was followed by goals by Koles (Illia Mukhin assist) and Chase Tovsky (Blaize Pepe and Gavin Nisenzon assists) to give the Golden Hawks a 4-1 lead after one period.
The Golden Hawks brought an early end to the game with eight unanswered goals in the second period. Koles scored his first of two goals in the period less than a minute into the period. Jackson Mosley connected for a hat trick in the period that also included single goals by Gavin Nisenzon, Jake Weiner and Jonah Weston.
Contributing multi-point games for the Hawks were Weiner (1g,2a), Pepe (3a) and Mosely (3g) with three points games. Adding two-point games were Jeremy Rayher (1g,1a), Muhkin (2a), Weston (1g,1a), Nisenzon (1g,1a) and Evan Mostoller (2g).
The Golden Hawks – looking very much like the 12-win team they are – held a 40-5 advantage in shots. Trey Prozzillo earned the win in goal for the Hawks.
