NORTH PENN 3, CENTRAL BUCKS EAST 1
The Knights won a close one Wednesday at Hatfield Ice. Cole Pluck broke a 1-1 tie with 7:27 remaining in regulation, connecting on a power play goal with assists from Chase Kelly Del Ricci and Danial Cabralesj to give the Knights a lead they would not lose.
With 49 seconds remaining Nolan Shingle scored his 16th goal of the season (Samuel Norton assist) for the 3-1 final.
Earlier, Pluck broke a scoreless tie when he scored a power play goal with a Declan Leahy assist with 1:20 remaining in the second period.
That 1-0 lead stood until – less than a minute into the third period - East’s Jaden Young scored an unassisted goal, setting the stage for the dramatic finish.
Aidan Quigley earned the win in goal for the Knights, turning away 12 of 13 shots he faced. Cole Breen kept East in the game with a 33-save effort, which included 24 stops on 25 shots heading into the final period.

PLYMOUTH WHITEMARSH 5, SPRINGFIELD TWP 4
Talk about dramatic endings – this was it.
Just when it looked as though Springfield was going to extend league-leading PW to overtime, Cooper Kanze scored with 30 seconds remaining, using assists from Ryan Jagher and Luke Smith to score the game-winner.
It didn’t look as though PW would need Kanze’s late-game heroics when they opened up a 3-1 lead early in the second period.
The Colonials took a 2-1 lead in the opening period. Morgan Hulitt (Daniel Guller/Kanze assists) and Kanze (Chris London assist) scored back-to-back goals with Kanze connecting on a short-handed goal.
A goal by Tyriel DeFreitas (Christopher Cahill assist) cut PW’s lead in half heading into the second period.
Jagher’s power play goal with assists from Guller and London gave the Colonials a 3-1 lead less than five minutes into the second period. Randy Franklin answered with a goal for Springfield (DeFreitas/Felix Boccella assists). Jagher’s second goal of the game – this one on the power play with a Luke Smith assist – sent the Colonials into the final period with a 4-2 lead that turned out to be anything but secure.
Early in the third period, Gavin McManus scored with an assist from Gabriel Wells to make it a one-goal game, and when DeFreitas scored an unassisted short-handed goal with 3:12 remaining, the score was deadlocked at 3 apiece, setting the stage for the dramatic finish.
Lucas Bennett earned the win in goal for PW, turning away 28 shots.

PENNRIDGE 6, PENNSBURY 3
Shane Dachowski connected for a hat trick in Wednesday’s closely contested game that saw the Rams pull away with a three-goal third period.
Neither team scored in the opening period, and it was the Falcons scoring first early in the second when Shane Gleisner connected on a power play goal with a Jacob Sarver assist. Goals by Joshua Kelly (Dhilan Howard assist) and Dachowski (James Rush/Nicholas Young assists) in less than a minute gave the Rams a 2-1 lead. But not for long.
Pennsbury’s Logan Weed connected on a power play goal with assists from Gleisner and Christopher Sarver, evening the score 2-2. Dachowski’s second goal (Rush/Landan Bishop assists) -this one on the power play – sent the Rams into the final period with a one-goal edge.
Rush found the net with a power play goal three minutes in the third period, using a Nolan Shaw assist. Weed scored to pull the Falcons to within one with assists from Gleisner and Jacob Sarver.
Back-to-back goals late in the period by Shaw (Ryan Burke assist) and Dachowski gave the Rams their final margin of victory.
Jacob Winton was credited with 29 saves to earn the win in goal for the Rams. Both teams had 32 shots on goal.

NESHAMINY 9, SOUDERTON 5
The Redskins erupted for six first-period goals on their way to the win Wednesday night at Grundy. Ryan DeMatteo’s six -point game – five goals and one assist - led the Redskins.
Souderton actually took an early 1-0 lead on a goal by Pierceson Egan (Maxwell Ryon/Luca Ferretti assists). Neshaminy answered with six straight goals to close out the period – two by DeMatteo – the first with an Anthony DiCrosta assist - and one each from Sean Mooney (Brett Fox assist), Angelo Veneziale (Anthony DiCrosta/Sean Mooney assists), Liam Mooney (DeMatteo/Tyler Hathaway assists) and Dylan Cavanaugh (Hathaway assist).
In the second period, Maxwell Ryon scored with assists from Cameron Fairweather and Matthew Cross). It marked the beginning of a 3-0 period by the Indians who also received goals from Ryon (Patrick Callahan/Fairweather assists) and Cross (Caden O’Neill/Jackson Kelly assists). Neshaminy headed into the final period with a 6-4 lead.
DeMatteo and Ryon (Fairweather assist) exchanged goals. DeMatteo’s back-to-back goals – the second with assists from Hathaway and Brett Fox – gave Neshaminy its final margin of victory.
Neshaminy’s Colin Thurnau earned the win in goal, turning away 28 shots.

COUNCIL ROCK SOUTH 11, CENTRAL BUCKS WEST 1
The Golden Hawks took care of business in a hurry, opening up a 6-1 lead in the first period on the way to their 12th win in as many games on Wednesday at Hatfield Ice.
Six players contributed three-point games to lead a balanced Rock South attack – Jake Maurer (3a), Jeremy Rayher (3a), Jake Weiner (2g, 1a), Jordan Sarne (2g, 1a), Jackson Mosley (1g, 2a) and Jacob Cohen (3a). Adding two-point games were Jagger Smith (2g), Jonah Weston (2a) and Luke Ralston (2g).
Also contributing to the scoring for the Golden Hawks were Braydon Hanratty (1a), Peter Pereborow (1g), Seth Teitelman (1g), Daniel Filippov (1a), Wesley Mallon (1a) and Brendan Rooney (1a).
In the opening period, Mosley, Sarne, Teitelman and Ralston each scored one goal. Weiner had a pair. The Bucks’ tear was interrupted only by a goal West’s Anthony Dowd (Zane Sanders assist).
Rock South added three goals in the second and two more in the third to bring an early end to the game.
Trey Prozzillo earned the win in goal, turning away seven shots.
