With 2:37 remaining in regulation in the second period, Blake Ambler broke a 4-4 tie, scoring a goal that turned out to be the game-winner with assists from Daniel Molony and Jarrett Olenginski. Both teams had their chances in a third period that saw the Hatters hold a 13-8 advantage in shots, but neither team could find the net.
The Hatters threw a scare into the undefeated Colonials, opening up a 3-0 lead less than 10 minutes into the game, but PW answered with four straight goals before Hatboro-Horsham’s Nathan Nemchinov scored the tying goal with an Aiden North assist with 4:15 remaining in the second period.
Earlier, in the opening period, the Hatters used back-to-back-to-back goals by Nathan Nemchinov (Darius Graziani assist), Victor Wilkins (Joseph Magnin Jr/William Moffa assists) and Mangin (Moffa/Wilkins assist) to go on top 3-0.
