The Ghosts took a 2-1 lead into the second period when they erupted for six goals to blow open a close game on their way to the convincing win. Samuel Abramson’s four-goal effort led the Ghosts.
The Trojans scored first when Dryden Jaisle (Benjamin Raebiger assist) scored just over four minutes into the opening period. That 1-0 lead stood until the final 80 seconds of the period when Jude Large (Seamus Donofry assist) and Abramson scored back-to-back goals to put the Ghosts on top 2-1.
Three straight goals to open the second period put the Ghosts on top 5-1 and included one goal each from Benjamin Biko, Devin Bates and Abramson (Hezzikia Brown assist). The Trojans interrupted the Ghosts’ run with a Jaxson Shandler goal (Nolan Pounds assist) midway through the period. Abramson, Shane Meltzer and Bates (Owen Adamski assist) each scored a goal to put the Ghosts on top 8-2 after two periods.
In the third period, Abramson (short-handed) and Meltzer each scored to give the Ghosts their final margin of victory.
The Ghosts held a 56-13 advantage in shots. Goalie Matthew Evangelist was credited with 11 saves in the win.

William Hurlburt scored four goals and assisted on another to lead Hatboro-Horsham/Upper Dublin to the mercy rule win.
Less than two minutes into the opening period, Hurlburt found the net with an unassisted goal, and then it was Jayne Gamburg (Hurlburt/Kevin McGinly assists) scoring to put HH/UD on top 2-0. Nathan Nemchinov (William Moffa assist) and Victor Wilkins (short-handed) each scored a goal to send the Ghosts into the second period with a 4-0 lead.
It was more of the same in the second period. Back-to-back goals by Hurlburt – the first with a McGinly assist and the second assisted by Wilkins – made it a 6-0 game. Nemchinov (Wilkins assist) and Moffa (Jonah Fisher/Nemchinov assists) followed with back-to-back goals. In the final two minutes, HH/UD received power play goals from Hurlburt and Wilkins to close out the game and the scoring.
Max Kepniss turned away all three shots he faced in a winning effort that saw HH/UD hold a 51-7 advantage in shots.

The Knights bounced back from a loss to league-leading Pennridge 24 hours earlier to defeat the Indians at Hatfield Ice. Nolan Shingle’s four-point game included a goal and three assists and led the Knights. Samuel Norton added two goals and an assist to the Knights’ balanced attack.
The Knights opened up a 2-0 lead after one period, thanks to a pair of Norton goals in the final 3:14 of the period. Both were assisted by Shingle and Cole Pluck.
North Penn upped its lead to 3-0 when Shingle scored in the opening minutes of the second period, using a Norton assist. The Indians got back in the game with consecutive goals in a 90-second span late in the period. Jackson Accardi scored an unassisted short-handed goal, and he followed that with a power play goal assisted by Michael Booth.
With 52 seconds remaining in the period, Matthew Yothers scored an unassisted goal, using a Christopher Seward assist. The Knights took that 4-2 lead into the final period that saw Joseph Silovtti scored the lone goal, this one assisted by Shingle.
Ian McAteer earned the win in goal, recording 17 saves. Ian Goldberg kept the Indians in the game with a 41-save effort.

Benjamin Fadden found the net with a power play goal with 3:52 remaining in overtime, propelling the Indians to the big win in an OT thriller. Nicholas Smith and Maxwell Ryon assisted on the game-winner.
Thursday’s game came on the heels of emotional games Wednesday for both squads with the Indians falling to Central Bucks West 4-2 in a game they dominated statistically and the Titans dropping a 2-1 heartbreaker to Council Rock South.
In a preview of things to come, the two teams were deadlocked after one period. DJ Lindenmuth connected on a power play goal for the Titans, but Seth Grossman answered with back-to-back goals for the Indians. Lindenmuth’s second goal of the game in the closing seconds – this one short-handed – evened the score 2-2.
Ryan Frey’s shorthanded goal with assists from Jake Stepp and Lindenmuth just 20 seconds into the second period put the Titans on top 3-2. But not for long.
Drew Savarese, Fadden and Grossman answered with consecutive goals for the Indians, who took a 5-3 lead. Again, the Titans had an answer, reeling off three straight goals to close out the period – two by Aidan Linso and one by Lindenmuth – to go into the final period with a 6-5 edge.
Grossman and Ryon scored back-to-back goals in the opening 90 seconds to put the Indians on top 7-6. Less than a minute later, Keith Waldron scored the tying goal, and a goal by Jake Stepp with a Sean Cutter assist put the Titans on top 8-7 with 3:16 remaining.
Ryon scored a short-handed goal (Smith assist) with 36 seconds remaining in regulation to send the game into overtime where Fadden scored the game-winner.
Ryon’s eight-point game (2g,6a) led the Indians while Grossman had a six-point night (4g,2a). Smith (3a) and Savarese (1g,2a) each had three-point games.
For the Titans, Lindenmuth’s six-point game (3g,3a) led the way. Linso added two goals and two assists while Stepp had a goal and an assist.
Connor Paulus came up huge in goal for the Indians, turning away 40 shots.

The Colonials solidified their position atop the SHSHL American standings in a key contest with the second-place Owls, who now trail PW by two full games in the loss column. David Branigan’s three-point game – two goals and one assist – led the Colonials.
Branigan (Jack Moffatt assist) broke a scoreless tie six minutes into the second period. Less than a minute later, Alexander Hood turned a pass from Daniel Klein into the equalizer. Dylan Novitski (Timothy Murphy/Branigan assists) scored with 6:11 remaining in the period to put the Colonials on top 2-1 after one.
Branigan’s second goal – this one with a Daniel Guller assist – six minutes into the third period put the Colonials on top 3-1. Alex Bazylevich (Lucas Gonzalez/Cole Salayda assists) scored a power play goal to trim PW’s lead to one. Back-to-back goals by PW’s John Zawislak (Guller assist) and Daniel Molony (Murphy/Isaac Mishkin assists) closed out the scoring.
The Colonials held a 29-17 advantage in shots. Julian Lucks was credited with 15 saves in goal in a winning effort.

The Indians rode the 31-save effort of goalie Ian Goldberg and the four-point game of Jackson Accardi to their second win of the season. Accardi scored three goals and assisted on another. Teammates Drew Borden and Ivan Bondra were facilitators – both finished with three assists.
Nicholas Hahn (Bondra assist) put the Indians on the scoreboard with 6:39 remaining in the opening period, but Pennsbury’s Logan Weed scored the equalizer with 20 seconds remaining in the period, using assists from Jake Seiler and Conor Kane.
Back-to-back goals by Hahn (Borden assist) and Christian Funk (Accardi/Borden assists) sent the Indians into the third period with a 3-1 lead.
Jacob Sarver – using assists from Christopher Sarver and Kane – made it a 3-2 game with a goal five minutes into the final period. Accardi answered with back-to-back goals to put the Indians on top 5-2 – the first with assists from Michael Booth and Bondra and the second unassisted.
Pennsbury’s Evan Eisler scored with just under five minutes remaining in the third period, but Accardi answered with his third goal, this one assisted by Bondra and Borden for the 6-3 final.

Liam Rogers was a brick wall in goal.
The undisputed star of the Bucks’ win, Rogers turned away 51 of 53 shots he faced. In each of the three periods, the West goalie was pelted with a barrage of shots – 16 in the first, 17 in the second and 20 in the third. He allowed one goal in both the first and second periods and none in the third in a stellar outing.
Souderton took a 1-0 lead in the first period, thanks to a goal from Maxwell Ryon with assists from Seth Grossman and Nicholas Smith. That lead grew to 2-0 when Ryon scored in the opening minute of the second, this time using a Smith assist.
The Bucks answered in short order, scoring back-to-back goals in a three-minute span just two minutes after Ryon scored. Nicholas Bruno connected on an unassisted goal, and then it was Adam Ricci turning a pass from Alexander Korolev into the equalizer.
The two teams went into the final period deadlocked at two apiece. Midway through the period, Bruno scored a goal that turned out to be the game-winner, using an Anthony Dowd assist. Less than a minute later, Dowd found the net with assists from Bruno and Blake Hager. That 4-2 score stood the rest of the way.

Defense was the story of Wednesday’s contest pitting the Patriots against the Redskins at Grundy.
Overtime appeared to be inevitable as the two teams were deadlocked at 1-1 until just 1:38 remained in regulation when Drew Trask found the net with an unassisted goal for the game-winner.
Earlier, the Patriots took a 1-0 lead when Alex Wilson scored just over six minutes into the opening period, using assists from Samuel Gottesman and Carter Keiser.
The Redskins evened the score with 7:24 remaining in the second period on a goal by Aiden Gaspari with an Angelo Veneziale assist. That score stood until Trask’s game-winner.
Cole Breen earned the win in goal with another strong outing, turning away 21 of 22 shots he faced. Neshaminy goalie Cory Hemberger kept his team in it with a 37-save effort between the pipes.

Andrew Savona scored three goals and assisted on another while Shane Dachowski had a three-point game (1g,2a) to lead the Rams to the conference win.
Sparked by goals from Dachowski (Tyler Manto assist) and Kevin Pico (James Rush assist), the Rams led 2-0 after one period.
That lead grew to 4-0 after goals by Savona (Shane Dachowski assist) and Colin Dachowski (Savona/Shane Dachowski assist), but the Kinghts answered with back-to-back-to-back goals to make it a 4-3 game. Matthew Yothers (Harris Hunsberger assist) ignited the Knights’ run with a goal. Two-and-a-half minutes later, Declan Leahy turned a Danial Cabrales pass into a goal, and then it was James Boyle scoring with assists from Cole Pluck and Nolan Shingle. An unassisted goal by Kevin Pico gave the Rams a 5-3 lead heading into the final period.
Samuel Norton trimmed that led to one with a goal five minutes into the third period, using a Shingle assist. It was a one-goal game until a goal by Savona (Colin Dachowski assist) with 2:03 remaining. An empty net goal by Savona in the closing seconds gave the Rams their final margin of victory.
Jacob Winton earned the win between the pipes, turning away 17 shots.
