The Knights notched a non-league road win, erupting for three goals in the third period to take control of the tightly contested game.
In the first period, a goal by James Boyle spotted the Knights a 1-0 lead that was erased when the Whippets scored back-to-back goals in the second period.
Goals by Samuel Norton and Boyle sent the Knights into the third period with a one-goal lead.
In the third period, Nolan Shingle, Cole Pluck and Norton each scored a goal for the 6-2 final.
Norton’s two goals and two assists led the Knights.
Aidan Quigley turned away 26 shots in a winning effort in goal.

SPRING-FORD 8, PENNSBURY 7
Spring-Ford’s Dylan Cyr scored with 36 seconds remaining in regulation, breaking a 7-7 deadlock and propelling the Rams to the non-league win.
This one was a battle from the outset with the Rams opening up a 2-0 lead only to have Logan Weed and Kevin DeRosa each score a goal for the Falcons to even the score 2-2 after one period.
In the second period, the two teams exchanged goals with Weed’s second goal of the game – this one short-handed – sending the Falcons into the final period with a 6-5 lead.
Cyr scored the equalizer in the opening minute of the third period, but Jacob Sarver’s power play goal with 1:13 remaining in regulation knotted the score. It was Sarver’s third goal of the game. That set the stage for Cyr’s game-winner in the closing minute of regulation.
Spring-Ford held a 37-35 edge in shots in the evenly matched game.

Jake Weiner scored four goals and assisted on a fifth to lead the Golden Hawks’ attack while Trey Prozzillo’s 23-save effort in goal sparked a stellar defensive effort.
Jeremy Rayher scored with an assist from Jordan Sarne with two minutes remaining in the opening period, a goal that stood as the game-winner.
In the second period, Peter Pereborow scored in the opening minutes, and Weiner connected on back-to-back goals to send the Hawks into the final period with a 4-0 lead.
Weiner closed out a standout effort with a pair of goals in the third period.
Rayher’s four-point game included a goal and three assists while Jordan Sarne added three assists.
CR South had a 42-23 advantage in shots.

Cooper Kanze scored five goals, and Daniel Guller had five assists to lead an inspired PW attack.
Kanze and Charles Spause each scored a goal in the opening period to spot the Colonials a 2-0 lead. The Colonials reeled off five unanswered goals to open the second period that included three goals by Kanze and single goals by Ryan Jagher and Blake Ambler to make it a 7-0 game.
Wissahickon broke up the Colonials’ shutout bid on a goal by Logan Honeycutt. Ryan Campbell answered with a goal for the Colonials, and then the Trojans’ Benjamin Raebiger connected on an unassisted power play goal to make it an 8-2 game heading into the final period.
In the third period, Daniel Molony scored a pair of goals while Kanze and Brandon Wooldridge each added a goal for the 12-2 final.
The Colonials held a 41-25 advantage in shots. PW’s Julian Lucks was credited with 23 saves in goal in a winning effort.

Colin Thurnau turned away all 36 shots he faced in a brilliant shutout effort in goal to lead the Redskins to the non-league win. Thurnau’s standout effort in goal negated Conestoga’s 36-24 advantage in shots.
In the second period, Anthony DiCrosta broke a scoreless tie, turning an assist from Eli Kirsh into a goal that turned out to be the game-winner.
Six minutes into the third period Ryan DeMatteo scored an insurance goal with an assist from Liam Mooney.

Marple Newtown opened up a 3-0 lead after one period, and the visitors extended that to 4-0 early in the second period before the Hatters scored a pair of goals.
Hatboro-Horsham would get no closer than two goals the rest of the way.
Nathan Nemchinov scored a pair of goals for the Hatters while Vincent Graziani added a goal and an assist. Victor Wilkins added a single goal.
The Hatters held a 33-29 edge in shots in the non-league contest.

The Spartans dominated play in their shutout win over the Ghosts, and only the 50-save effort in goal of Abington’s Matthew Evangelist kept the game close. Evangelist helped negate a lopsided 55-12 Springfield advantage in shots.
Liam Baskin turned away 12 shots in the shutout win in goal for Springfield.
Tyrel DeFreitas scored a goal that would stand as the game winner in the opening minute of the game, using assists by Owen Quinn and Christopher Cahill. Kellen Warman’s short-handed goal gave the Spartans a 2-0 lead after one period.
Goals by Cahill (Quinn/Gavin McManus assists) and McManus (Randy Franklin assist) gave the Spartans a 4-0 lead after two periods.
Quinn (Trent Gardner assist) closed out the scoring with a third period goal.

Nicholas Smith scored five goals and assisted on two others. His seven-point game led a potent Souderton attack. Maxwell Ryon added three goals and two assists while Luca Ferretti, Cameron Fairweather, Caden O’Neill and Matthew Cross each had three-point games.
The Bucks took an early 1-0 lead on a goal by Brandon March, but the Indians answered with four straight goals to close out the period. Cross scored a pair while Smith and Ryon each had one.
Ryon’s second goal early in the second period put the Indians on top 5-1 before the Bucks responded with back-to-back goals by Zane Sanders and Tyler Ricci to make it a 5-3 game early in the period.
Souderton answered with five straight goals – two from Smith and one each from Fairweather, Cross and Seth Connor – to go on top 9-3. The Bucks never threatened the rest of the way.
Souderton held a lopsided 67-19 advantage in shots.

The Knights notched their third win without a loss, opening up a 5-1 lead after one period and never looking back on their way to the big win.
Nolan Shingle scored three goals and assisted on two others while Cole Pluck had five assists. Their five-point games led a dangerous North Penn attack. Declan Leahy added a goal and three assists.
Rock North took a 1-0 lead just over a minute into the game on Jackson Accardi’s unassisted goal. Danial Cabrales scored the equalizer with assists from Shingle and Pluck.
Boyle turned a pass from Pluck into the go-ahead goal, and goals by Gabriel Dunn, Samuel Norton and Shingle gave the Knights a 5-1 lead after one period on their way to the convincing win.
The Knights held a 38-18 advantage in shots.

Shane Dachowski scored two goals and assisted on three others while James Rush added a hat trick to lead the Rams to the win in last Wednesday’s non-league game.
Rush scored back-to-back goals in the game’s opening minutes to give the Rams a lead they would not lose. Boyertown’s Logan Brown made it a 2-1 game, but Dachowski turned a Jared Garber pass into a goal to send the Rams into the second period with a 3-1 lead.
Dachowski and Rush each scored a goal in the second period to give the Rams a 5-1 lead on their way to the win.
Pennridge held a 32-29 edge in goals.
Jacob Winton recorded 26 saves in a winning effort in goal.
