Andrew Savona connected for a hat trick and also had a pair of assists to lead the Rams to the decisive win over the Knights. Jacob Winton turned away all 18 shots he faced in a shutout performance in goal. The Rams held a 43-18 advantage in shots.
Shane Dachowski turned an Andrew Savona assist into a goal that stood as the game-winner and sent the Rams into the second period with a 1-0 lead.
Kevin Pico (Savona/Dachowski assists) and Savona (Dachowski/James Rush assists) each scored a goal in the second period to give the Rams a 3-0 lead heading into the third period.
In the third period, Savona scored a pair of goals with a Dachowski assist on the first and a Tyler Manto assist on the second. Joshua Kelly (Nolan Shaw/Salvatore Daquino assists) and Rush (Pico/Manto assists) both added a goal for the 7-0 final.

The Golden Hawks took a tenuous 4-3 lead into the final period when Jake Weiner and Chase Tovsky (Gavin Nisenzon assist) scored back-to-back goals – Tovsky on the power play - to ice the win.
The two teams spent the first period exchanging goals. Blaize Pepe (Ilya Kudzinau/Daniel Filippov assists) put the Golden Hawks on the board, but Keith Waldron (Logan Hood) answered with a goal for the Titans. Tovsky scored with a Nisenzon assist, but with a minute remaining in the opening period, Ryan Montagna scored with a Ryan Frey assist to knot the score 2-2 after one period. Both Rock South’s goals came on the power play, and Waldron’s was also on a power play.
Weiner (Jonah Weston/Jordan Sarne assists) and Nisenzon (Kevin Koles/Pepe assists) opened the second period with back-to-back goals to put the Hawks on top 4-2. Jeffrey Kvecher’s unassisted goal pulled the Titans to within one with an unassisted goal, setting the stage for the third period that belonged to the Golden Hawks.

CENTRAL BUCKS WEST 3, NESHAMINY 3 (OT)
Goals were hard to come by for both teams, and after exchanging goals for three periods and a scoreless overtime, the two teams were forced to settle for a 3-3 tie.
Neither team scored in the opening period, and Ryan DeMatteo put the Redskins on the scoreboard with an unassisted goal in the opening minute of the second period. Less than two minutes later, Anthony Dowd scored a power play goal for the Bucks, using assists from John Cherubini and Brandon March, and another power play goal by Dowd less than a minute later (Cherubini assist) gave the Bucks a 2-1 lead. DeMatteo connected on his second goal – this one also on the power play with a Cory Hemberger assist – to even the score 2-2 heading into the final period.
In the third period, Dowd (Nicholas Bruno/Adam Ricci assists) and Neshaminy’s Angelo Veneziale (DeMatteo assist) exchanged goals in a one-minute span late in the third period. Neither team scored the rest of the way.
Isaac Mays turned away 30 shots in goal for the Bucks while Hemberger had 34 saves for the Redskins.

PLYMOUTH WHITEMARSH 8, HATBORO-HORSHAM/UPPER DUBLIN 5
The Colonials opened up a 3-0 lead after one period, but Hatboro-Horsham/Upper Dublin refused to go away, staying within striking distance until late in the second period when PW scored a pair of goals to go on top 7-3 on its way to the win.
In the opening period, Dylan Novitski scored back-to-back goals – the second with assists from Daniel Guller and Jayson Yoder, and then it was Isaac Mishkin scoring with assists from Guller and Jason Segal to put the Colonials on top 3-0.
Victor Wilkins (Kevin McGinly/Jonah Fisher assists) put H-H/UD on the scoreboard, but Timothy Murphy (Isaac Mishkin assist) answered with a goal for the Colonials. H-H/UD goals by Darius Graziani (William Hurlburt assist) and Hurlburt (Nathan Nemchinov/Kevin McGinly assists) sandwiched around a Segal goal (Mishkin/Charlie Spause assists) pulled H-H/UD to within two, 5-3, but that’s as close as they would get.
Goals by Blake Ambler (John Zawislak assist) and Segal (Guller/Yoder assists) sent the Colonials into the third period with a 7-3 lead.
In the third period, Hurlbert scored a pair for H-H/UD, and Yoder connected for the Colonials, who earned the 8-5 win.
Julian Lucks earned the win in goal, turning away 19 shots for the Colonials.

BENSALEM 12, WISSAHICKON 2
Alexander Hood had a hand in 10 goals, scoring seven and assisting on three others, to lead the Owls to the no-doubt-about-it mercy rule win over the Trojans.
Cole Morelli (Cole Salayda assist) and Salayda (Lucas Gonzalez/Hood assists) scored early goals to spot the Owls a 2-0 lead, but Wissahickon’s Joseph Gambino IV scored with assists from Nolan Pounds and Sabrina Honeycutt to cut that advantage in half.
Hood followed with back-to-back goals, the second with an assist from Justin Rapone. Gonzalez turned a Hood pass into a goal that gave the Owls a 5-1 lead after one period.
In the second period, Hood scored back-to-back goals, and then it was Salayda connecting on back-to-back goals. Hood scored his third and fourth goals of the quarter, and then it was Gonzalez scoring with a Hood assist, putting Bensalem on top 10-2 heading into the final quarter.
The Owls brought an early end to the game with back-to-back goals by Hood to open the third period.
Ricky Gonzalez earned the win in goal, turning away 22 shots.

CENTRAL BUCKS WEST 4, COUNCIL ROCK NORTH 3

Isaac Mays stole the spotlight in the Bucks’ hard fought win over the Indians, turning away 40 shots in a superb outing in goal and allowing West to hold off an inspired Rock North comeback attempt. Mays’ performance negated the Indians 43-24 advantage in shots on goal.
West took a 4-1 lead into the third period, but things got interesting when the Indians used goals by Jackson Accardi and Nicholas Hahn – the second with 18 seconds remaining to pull to within one. The Indians got close, but it wasn’t enough.
Early on, the Bucks took a 2-0 lead in the opening period, thanks to goals by Anthony Dowd and Nicholas Bruno 10 minutes apart. Dowd’s was unassisted while Isabella Carter assisted on the second.
A goal by Accardi with a Daniel Maglathlin assist in the opening minute of the second quarter made it a 2-1 game, but the Bucks answered with back-to-back goals. Zane Sanders scored with an assist from Alexander Korolev with 4:09 remaining in the period, and then it was Adam Ricci scoring with a Dowd assist to put the Bucks on top 4-1 after two periods.

SOUDERTON 9, PENNSBURY 8 (OT)
Maxwell Ryon scored with 1:18 remaining in overtime, propelling the Indians to the come-from-behind win over the Indians in a wild SHSHL battle. Ryon’s five-goal, three-assist effort led the Indians.
The two teams spent the game exchanging momentum. Seth Grossman’s unassisted goal early in the opening period gave the Indians a 1-0 lead that was erased in a hurry by the Falcons, who reeled off three straight goals. A pair of Logan Doyle goals were sandwiched around a goal by Christopher Sarver, and just like that, the Falcons led 3-1.
Another Grossman goal, this one with a Ryon assist, made it a 3-2 game, but Jared Swope answered with a goal for the Falcons. Ryon scored for the Indians, and the Falcons took a 4-3 lead into the second quarter.
Sarver’s goal with a Doyle assist gave Pennsbury a 5-3 advantage that disappeared when the Indians closed out the period with a 3-1 tear, evening the score 6-6 heading into the final period. Ryon accounted for all three of Souderton’s goals while Shane Gleisner scored a single goal for the Falcons.
In the third period, Swope and Grossman exchanged goals in the opening minutes, and the score was still knotted. Logan Weed and Grossman exchanged goals in a 30-second span late in the period, knotting the score 8-8 and setting the stage for overtime.
Souderton held a 38-34 advantage in shots. Connor Paulus was credited with 26 saves in a winning effort in goal for the Indians.

Late in the opening period, Abington and Springfield found themselves deadlocked 2-2, and the Ghosts closed out the game with a 5-2 tear to earn the win.
Early on, Owen Quinn gave Springfield a short-lived lead with an unassisted goal. Michael Romano responded with back-to-back goals – both with assists from Seamus Donofry and Shane Meltzer. Quinn turned a pass from Grayson Quinn into a goal that knotted the score 2-2. Samuel Abramson (Romano/Donofry assists) scored to give the Ghosts a 3-2 lead after one period.
The two teams exchanged goals in the second period. Donofry scored with an Abramson assist and then it was Christopher Cahill scoring a goal with a Gavin McManus assist. Meltzer and Marcel Camper exchanged goals, and the period ended with the Ghosts on top 5-4.
In the third period, Marcus Paulik (Jonathan Wexler assist) and Abramson (Donofry assist) each scored a goal to give the Ghosts a 7-4 win.
Abington’s Matthew Evangelist recorded 24 saves in goal in a winning effort.

Kevin Pico connected for a hat trick and also had a pair of assists to lead the Rams, who opened up a 3-0 lead after one period and led wire to wire. The Patriots, however, made things interesting when they opened the second period with a 3-1 tear to make it a 4-3 game. The Rams answered with a 3-0 burst to close out the game.
In the opening period, the Rams received a goal from Shane Dachowski (Colin Dachowski/Kevin Pico assists) and a pair of goals from Kevin Pico – the first with assists from Andrew Savona and Nicholas Young and the second with assists from Savona and Nolan Shaw.
East’s Charlie Keiser (Ryan Gerken assist) scored in the opening minutes, and Pico answered with his third goal, this one with assists from Colin Dachowski and Ian Brouse. East’s Corey Kosick scored back-to-back goals – the first with a Kyle McIntyre assist and the second with a Keiser - helped to trim Pennridge’s lead to 4-3 with 5:14 remaining in the period.
Pennridge’s James Rush (Pico/Shane Dachowski assist) gave the Rams a 5-3 edge heading into the third period with a goal late in the second period.
Shane Dachowski (Savona/Colin Dachowski assists) and Shaw each scored a goal in the third period to ice the win for the Rams.
Jacob Winton earned the win in goal, turning away 15 shots. East’s Cole Breen kept his team in the game with a 39-save effort in a contest that saw the Rams hold a 46-18 advantage in shots.

COUNIL ROCK SOUTH 10, NESHAMINY 0
Jake Weiner scored three goals and assisted on two others, and his five-point game led the Golden Hawks in their rout of the Redskins.
The Hawks wasted little time before seizing control of the game. Daniel Filippov (Kevin Koles assist) scored an early goal that would stand as the game-winner, and that 1-0 lead stood until Kevin Koles (Jackson Mosley/James Dilulio assists) found the net with 1:06 remaining. It marked the beginning of a 3-0 tear to close out the period. Koles scored with 46 seconds remaining, and 10 seconds later, Weiner scored with an assist from Ilya Kudzinau to put the Golden Hawks on top 4-0.
In the second period, Dilulio, Kudzinau, Blaize Pepe and Filippov each scored a goal that put the Golden Hawks on top 8-0. The Hawks closed out the game with back-to-back goals by Weiner in the third period.
The Golden Hawks held a 48-5 advantage in shots. Rock South goalie Trey Prozzillo was forced to make just five saves in the shutout win.
