CENTRAL BUCKS SOUTH 6, CENTRAL BUCKS EAST 3

The Titans upped their record to 4-1 in SHSHL play with a win over East on Friday. Peter Herring played the role of facilitator, contributing four assists. Jeffrey Kvecher and Jamison Crouch both added three-point games with a goal and two assists.
CB South seized early control of the game, opening up a 3-0 lead after one quarter. Alexander Cannon, Ryan Montagna and Crouch each had one goal.
Goals by Kvecher and Montagna to open the second period put the Titans on top 5-0 before Evan Asimakopoulos put the Patriots on the scoreboard with a power play goal.
In the third period, East’s Alex Wilson scored a pair of goals around a goal by South’s Jake Sciscio for the 6-3 final.
South held a 32-24 advantage in shots. Nathan Napolitano earned the win in goal, turning away 21 shots.

HATBORO-HORSHAM 6, ABINGTON 1
Victor Wilkins led the Hatters to a big win with a five-point game that included four goals and one assist.
Wilkins set the tone for the win with back-to-back goals in the first period – the second on a power play.
Joseph Magnin’s power play goal sent the Hatters into the second period with a 3-0 lead. Wilkins connected on a pair of power play goals in the second period to put the Hatters on top 5-0.
Katherine Wenhold’s power play goal early in the third period broke up the Hatters’ shutout bid. Brady Gurt answered with a goal, giving the Hatters their final margin of victory.
Hatboro-Horsham held a 32-15 advantage in shots. Eric Miller was credited with the win in goal, turning away 14 shots.

Thursday, Nov. 21
NESHAMINY 9, CENTRAL BUCKS WEST 2
Ten players contributed to the scoring in the  Redskins’ first win in SHSHL action. Anthony DiCrosta connected for a hat trick to lead Neshaminy’s balanced attack. Ryan DeMatteo and Tyler Hathaway both had three-point games with a goal and two assists.
A goal by Eli Kirsh gave Neshaminy a 1-0 lead after one period, and the Redskins upped that advantage to 3-0 with goals by DiCrosta and Hathaway before West got on the scoreboard with an unassisted goal by Zane Sanders.
Carter Lennon’s power play goal gave the Redskins a 4-1 lead heading into the final period when they outscored the Bucks 5-1 for the 9-2 final.
In the third period, DiCrosta connected on a pair of goals while Angelo Veneziale, DeMatteo and Liam Mooney each had one goal. Tyler Ricci scored for the Bucks.
Neshaminy held a 57-26 advantage in shots. Colin Thurnau earned the win in goal with 24 saves. West’s Isaac Mays was credited with 48 saves in a busy night between the pipes.

PENNRIDGE 10, COUNCIL ROCK NORTH 0
Shane Dachowski scored two goals and added four assists to lead the Rams to the mercy rule win over the Indians. James Rush added three goals and two assists, and Landan Bishop had a four-point game, contributing two goals and two assists.
The Rams opened up a 3-0 lead after one period with Dhilan Howard, Bishop and Rush each scoring one goal.
Pennridge brought an early end to the game with a seven-goal second period. Dachowski and Rush both had two goals in the period while Bishop, Nicholas Young and Justin Dinsmore each had one goal.
The Rams held a 32-12 advantage in shots. In goal, Jacob Winton turned away all 12 shots he faced in the shutout win.

PLYMOUTH WHITEMARSH 4, RADNOR 2
Radnor scored the first two goals in Thursday’s non-league game at Hatfield Ice. The rest of the night belonged to the Colonials, who scored four unanswered goals.
PW’s Ryan Jagher found the net with a power play goal with 5:48 remaining in the first period to make it a 2-1 game.
Morgan Hulitt’s unassisted goal – the lone goal in the second period – knotted the score 2-2 heading into the final frame.
Brandon Wooldridge scored a goal that turned out to be the game-winner with 9:57 remaining in regulation, using assists from Daniel Guller and Jarrett Olenginski. Morgan Hulitt’s second goal – also unassisted – gave the Colonials their final margin of victory.
PW held a 31-30 advantage in shots. Julian Lucks earned the win goal for the Colonials, turning away 28 of 30 shots.

COUNCIL ROCK SOUTH 2, HAVERFORD 1 (OT)
Peter Pereborow scored an unassisted goal with 1:42 remaining in overtime, propelling the Golden Hawks to the hard-fought non-league win at Grundy on Thursday night.
After two scoreless periods, Rock South’s Jordan Sarne scored with assists from Jonah Weston and Jeremy Rayher. Haverford evened the scored with a power play goal from Connor Lill with 4:34 remaining in regulation, setting the stage for overtime and Pereborow’s game-winner.
Rock South held a 31-26 advantage in shots in a game that featured a whole lot more defense than offense. The Fords outshot the Golden Hawks 10-7 in the opening period, and the Hawks had a 15-7 advantage in the second period. Despite combining for 39 shots, neither team had a goal on the scoreboard.
Evan Ayala earned the win in goal for the Golden Hawks, turning away 25 of 26 shots he faced.

Wednesday, Nov. 20
CENTRAL BUCKS SOUTH 4, PENNSBURY 3 (OT)

Peter Herring scored the game-winner with 2:26 remaining in overtime, using assists from Jeffrey Kvecher and Sean Cutter.
Herring’s goal – his second of the game - capped an inspired South comeback after falling behind 3-1 late in the opening period.
Brennan Thierolf’s goal with 1:12 remaining in the first period made it a 3-2 game, and Dominic Gibson scored the equalizer with 3:36 remaining in the second period. Neither team scored the rest of the way until Herring’s game-winner in OT.
Scoring one goal each for the Falcons were Ryan Kalachik, Jacob Sarver and Derek Nink.
The Titans held a 21-16 advantage in shots. Nathan Napolitano earned the win in goal.

The Golden Hawks won Wednesday’s battle of SHSHL unbeaten squads, opening up a 5-0 lead early in the third period and then holding off a North Penn comeback attempt.
Jonah Weston (2 goals, 1 assist) and Jackson Mosley (1 goal, 2 assists) led the Golden Hawks with three-point games.
Jeremy Rayher scored the lone goal of the opening period, and in the second Jake Weiner, Rayher and Weston each had a goal to give South its four-goal lead.
Rock South’s Jackson Mosley scored early in the third period before Daniel Cabrales broke up South’s shutout bid with an unassisted goal with 12:27 remaining. Weston answered with a goal for the Golden Hawks.
Nolan Shingle and Declan Leahy scored for the Knights to make it a 6-3 game with 8:38 remaining. Neither team scored the rest of the way.
Rock South held a 45-36 advantage in shots. Trey Prozzillo earned the win in goal for the Golden Hawks, turning away 33 shots.

COUNCIL ROCK NORTH 12, CENTRAL BUCKS WEST 10
Ivan Bondra scored six goals and added three assists while Jackson Accardi had five goals and three assists to lead an inspired Rock North attack.
The Bucks held a tenuous 6-5 lead after an opening period that saw the two teams combine for 29 shots.  A goal by Brandon March with 16 seconds remaining in the period broke a 5-5 tie.
The Indians opened up a 9-6 advantage with a 4-0 second quarter that included a goal by Accardi and three straight by Bondra.
West pulled to within one after back-to-back goals by Zane Sanders. Bondra scored a power play goal with 6:37 remaining to give the Indians a 10-8 advantage.
The Bucks evened the score with back-to-back goals by Anthony Dowd and Jack Misoda. Misoda’s equalizer came with 1:29 remaining in regulation.
North’s Accardi scored a goal that stood as the game-winner with 39 seconds remaining, using a Rory Davies assist. Accardi’s shorthanded goal with one second remaining gave the Indians their final margin of victory.
Sanders (2 goals, 5 assists) and Dowd (4 goals, 3 assists) led the Bucks with seven-point games.

WISSAHICKON 5, SPRINGFIELD 3
Aiden Brooks had a hand in all five of Wissahickon’s goals, scoring once and assisting on four others. Benjamin Raebiger added three goals and one assist for a four-point effort in the Trojans’ come-from-behind win.
The Spartans led 2-1 after one period, thanks to goals by Owen Quinn and Kellen Warman sandwiched around a Brooks goal.
The Trojans answered with four straight goals. Raebiger scored three goals in the second period, and Logan Honeycutt opened the third period with a goal that put the Trojans on top 5-1 on their way to the win.
Wissahickon held a 40-20 advantage in shots.

The Indians opened up a 3-0 lead after one quarter and led 4-1 midway through the second after a goal by Maxwell Ryon. Lower Merion answered with back-to-back goals to close out the second period and added the equalizer with 3:08 remaining in the third, setting the stage for overtime.
Lower Merion’s Sam Flood scored the game-winner with 4:19 remaining in OT.
Ryon and Jackson Kelly both had a pair of goals for Souderton. Matthew Cross and Patrick Callahan each had a pair of assists.
Lower Merion held a 35-34 advantage in shots in the evenly played contest, but 27 of Souderton’s shots came in the first two periods. The Indians had seven in the third period and none in overtime.
