PLYMOUTH WHITEMARSH 6, ABINGTON 1
The Colonials upped their record to a perfect 6-0 in SHSHL play with a shutout win over the Ghosts. Daniel Guller’s hat trick led the Colonials.
Abington’s Jeffrey Crompton scored the game’s first goal four-and-a-half minutes into the opening period, using assists from Hezzikia Brown and Joseph Widmeier. Four minutes later, Luke Smith evened the score with a goal assisted by Tyler Walker and Ryan Jagher.
Guller’s unassisted power play goal just over five minutes into the second period gave the Colonials a 2-1 lead and turned out to be the game-winner. John Zawislak’s unassisted goal sent the Colonials into the third period with a 3-1 lead.
PW closed out the game with back-to-back goals by Guller – both unassisted – and then a goal by Luke Smith (Luke Wynne assist).
Julian Lucks turned away 13 of 14 shots he faced in a winning effort in goal. Abington’s Matthew Evangelist was credited with 37 saves in a contest that saw the Colonials hold a 43-14 advantage in shots.

HATBORO-HORSHAM 10, SPRINGFIELD 4
Vincent Graziani scored three goals and added four assists in a seven-point effort to lead the Hatters to the win. Nathan Nemchinov added a five-point game that included two goals and three assists.
The Hatters exploded out the gate to a 6-0 lead. In the opening period, Evan Snow scored the game’s first goal, and then Victor Wilkins found the net with back-to-back goals for a 3-0 lead after one period.
Nemchinov, Vincent Graziani and Darius Graziani scored back-to-back-to-back goals to put the Hatters on top 6-0. Owen Quinn and Christopher Cahill responded with goals for the Spartans to make it a 6-2 game.
But not for long.
Vincent Graziani scored a. pair of goals around a goal by Nemchinov to send the Hatters into the final period with a 9-2 lead on their way to the big win.
The Hatters held a 49-28 advantage in shots.

COUNCIL ROCK NORTH 6, CENTRAL BUCKS WEST 5
Maxwell Segal’s unassisted goal with 8:12 remaining broke a 5-5 tie and turned out to be the game-winner. The win brought a welcome end to a five-game skid for the Indians.
Earlier, the Bucks took a 3-1 lead in the opening period. Colin Murray scored two minutes into the period, and after Michael Telegin connected with a goal for the Indians, Jack Misoda and Zane Sanders each scored a goal for the Bucks.
Power play goals by Rock North’s Daniel Maglathlin and Segal to open the second period evened the score 3-3. Misoda and Jackson Accardi exchanged goals, and the two teams went into the final period deadlocked 4-4.
Maglathlin’s unassisted power play goal put the Indians on top 5-4 early in the third period, but less than a minute later, West’s Tyler Ricci connected on a short-handed goal to even the score, setting the stage for Segal’s game-winner.
Michael Jacoby earned the win in goal with a 24-save effort. Rock North held a 41-29 advantage in shots that was negated by West’s Isaac Mays, who was credited with 37 saves in goal.

The Falcons broke a 5-5 tie with four goals in the final period to earn their second win of the season.
Shane Hicks scored less than a minute into the third period to put the Falcons on top 6-5, but Souderton answered with goals by Cameron Fairweather and Matthew Cross to take a 7-6 advantage midway through the period.
Christopher Sarver – whose five-point game led the Falcons – scored the equalizer with 6:32 remaining, using a Brendan Milliken assist. With just under five minutes remaining, Dylan Nink scored with assists from Jason Fowler and Jacob Sarver to put the Falcons on top 8-7, and Christoper Sarver’s second goal of the period gave the Falcons their final margin of victory.
In addition to Sarver’s five-point game, Shane Gleisner had four assists while Kevin DeRosa (three assists) and Jacob Sarver (one goal, two assists) both had three-point games.
Brendan Milliken turned away 25 shots in a winning effort in goal.

Fletcher Lynch turned away all 14 shots he faced in a shutout win in goal while Logan Dicus had four assists in a four-point game while Joseph Gambino IV connected for a hat trick to lead the Trojans’ attack.
After a scoreless opening period, the Trojans took control of the game with four goals in the second period. Logan Honeycut scored with an Aiden Brooks assist just over six minutes into the period, a goal that stood as game-winner. Gambino added a pair of goals and Jack Raebiger also scored to send the Trojans into the final period with a 4-0 lead.
Gambino, Raebiger and Andrew Ensminger each scored a goal in the third period for the 7-0 final.

NORTH PENN 4, CENTRAL BUCKS SOUTH 2
The Knights opened up a 3-0 lead five minutes into the second period and went on to win 4-2 in a classic battle between two of the conference’s top teams. Aidan Quigley’s 39-save effort in goal negated a 41-24 advantage in shots for the Titans.
Nolan Shingle and Christopher Silvotti (Declan Leahy/Chase Kelly Del Ricci assists) each scored first period goals, and it was a 3-0 game after Derek Lugara – with assists from Christopher Sarver and Leahy - scored just over five minutes into the second. A power play goal by South’s Ryan Montagna, using assists from Dominic Gibson and Peter Herring, made it 3-1 midway through the second.
Ryan Frey (Sean Cutter/Jamison Crouch assists) scored four minutes into the third period to pull the Titans to within one. Declan Leahy scored with a Cole Pluck assist to give the Knights their final margin of victory.
With the win, North Penn improved to 5-2 in league play while the Titans are 6-2.

COUNCIL ROCK SOUTH 7, NESHAMINY 6
The Golden Hawks notched their seventh win without a loss, but this one was anything but easy.
They needed a goal by Jake Weiner with 55 seconds remaining in regulation to even the score and send it into overtime, and then Weiner found the back of the net with 1:25 remaining in overtime to propel the Hawks to the dramatic win. Jonah Weston and Peter Pereborow assisted on the game-winner.
Earlier, the two teams exchanged goals in the opening period, and they were deadlocked 2-2 after one. In the second, Weiner and Jeremy Rayher each scored a goal around Angelo Veneziale’s goal to send Rock South into the third period with a 4-3 advantage.
Neshaminy’s Ryan DeMatteo scored back-to-back goals to give the Redskins a 5-4 advantage, but Peter Perreborow found the net with the equalizer. With 3:348 remaining in regulation, Carter Lennon turned an Eli Kirsh pass into the go-ahead goal, a lead that stood until Weiner knotted the score in the closing minute.
Jeremy Rayher (two goals, four assists) and Weiner (three goals, three assists) both had six-point games to lead Rock South. Jordan Sarne added a goal and three assists, while Pereborow had a goal and two assists.
DeMatteo’s three-goal game led the Redskins.

SOUDERTON 12, COUNCIL ROCK NORTH 8
Nicholas Smith scored six goals in a glittering individual effort while teammate Matthew Cross added two goals and three assists in a five-point game, leading the Indians to the hard-fought win.
Souderton opened up a 3-1 lead after three straight goals – two from Smith around a goal by Cross. Rock North answered with back-to-back-to-back goals by Michael Telegin, Ivan Bondra and Trent Stellmach, knotting the score 4-4 after one period.
In the second period, Souderton scored four straight to go on top 8-4 – one each from Cross and Pierceson Egan and two from Cameron Fairweather. A goal by Rock North’s Daniel Maglathlin made it an 8-5 game heading into the final period.
Smith scored just over a minute into the third period to give Souderton a four-goal lead, but Telegin answered with a goal for Rock North. Back-to-back goals by Smith and Jackson Kelly put the Indians on top 11-6. Rock North sandwiched goals by Jackson Accardi and Telegin around Smith’s sixth goal for the 12-8 final.
Souderton held a 43-40 edged in shots. Connor Paulus earned the win in goal, turning away 32 shots.
Accardi’s five-point game (two goals, three assists) led Rock North, and Telegin added three goals and one assist in a four-point game. Daniel Maglathlin had a goal and two assists.
Contributing three-point games for Souderton were Patrick Callahan (3 assists) and Fairweather (two goals, one assist).

The Rams – behind the 11-save effort of goalkeeper Jacob Winton – notched their fourth shutout of the season, their fourth in the last five games. Landon Bishop (one goal, four assists) and James Rush (three goals, two assists) each had five-point games to lead the Rams.
Pennridge led 3-0 after one period, thanks to consecutive goals by Nolan Shaw, Kaden Gunning and Rush in a three-minute span early in the frame.
In the second period, Rush and Shane Dachowski each scored a goal to give the Rams a 5-0 lead. Goals by Salvatore Daquino and Bishop in the third period closed out the scoring.
