CENTRAL BUCKS SOUTH 11, SOUDERTON 2
Eleven South players put their names in the scoring column in last Thursday’s win at Hatfield Ice. Sean Cutter (3g, 1a) and Joseph Slobodrian (1g, 3a) both had four-point games to lead the Titans. Adding three-point efforts were Jake Stepp (3a) and Ryan Frey (2g, 1a).
Cutter put the Titans on the board just over a minute into the contest, using assists from Stepp and Slobodrian). Nicholas Smith (Cameron Fairweather assist) answered with a short-handed goal for the Indians midway through the period to knot the score. The Titans responded with back-to-back goals by Cutter (Jamison Crouch assist) and Jake Sciscio (Cutter assist) to close out the period with a 3-1 lead.
Dominic Gibson’s short-handed goal was followed by a goal from Cutter that put the Titans on top 5-1. Matthew Cross broke the Titans’ 4-0 run with a goal for the Indians, but Frey and Slobodrian (power play) each score a goal to send the Titans into the final period with a commanding 7-1 lead.
In the third period, the Titans received single goals from Logan Hood, Ryan Montagna, Brennan Thierolf and Frey for the 11-2 final.
Nathan Napolitano earned the win in goal, turning away 30 of 32 shots he faced.

PENNSBURY 4, NESHAMINY 2
The Falcons avenged a loss to Neshaminy in Thanksgiving Eve’s rivalry game with a win last Thursday at Grundy. Pennsbury rode the strong goaltending of Brendan Milliken and won the tightly contested battle with a pair of goals in the third period to break a 2-2 tie.
The two teams spent the first two periods exchanging goals. Francis DeLucia put the Falcons on the board with 5:23 remaining in the opening period, using assists from Shane Hicks and Jacob Sarver. With 25 seconds remaining in the period, Liam Mooney turned a pass from Sean Mooney into a goal that knotted the score.
Shane Hicks scored with a Sarver assist midway through the second period, but again, Neshaminy had an answer with Ryan DeMatteo scoring with assists from Liam Mooney and Tyler Hathaway to even the score 2-2 heading into the final period.
Just over a minute into the final period, Shane Gleisner scored with an assist from Logan Weed – a goal that stood as the game-winner. Gleisner added an insurance goal with 2:13 remaining in regular, scoring an unassisted power play goal.
Milliken recorded the victory in goal for the Falcons, turning away 30 of 32 shots and all 16 shots he faced in the final period.

HATBORO-HORSHAM 8, WISSAHICKON 7
In what has become a battle for second in the SHSHL American standings, it was the Hatters using a four-goal outburst in the third period to erase a 6-4 deficit, eking out the win and avenging a 7-6 loss to the Trojans on Dec. 5.
Nathan Nemchinov capped the third-period rally with a short-handed goal with 3:04 remaining in regulation, using assists from Vincent Graziani and Darius Graziani to score the game-winner. It was his fourth goal in a glittering six-point game. Vincent Graziani (1g, 4a) and Darius Grazaiani (2g, 2a) both had big nights as well
Earlier in the third period, Darius Graziani scored with assists from Vincent Graziani and Nemchinov just over a minute into the period. Then it was Vincent Graziani (Darius Graziani/Nemchinov assist) connecting on the equalizer. A goal by Nemchinov (Vincent Graziani assist) with 4:09 remaining put the Hatters on top 7-6. But not for long.
Less than a minute later, Wissahickon’s Benjamin Raebiger scored the tying goal on a power play with an assist from Joseph Gambino IV, setting the stage for Nemchinov’s game-winner.
In what was a game of runs, the two teams exchanged three-goal bursts in the first period. Wissahickon appeared to have the upper hand after a goal Jack Raebiger and then a pair of goals by Benjamin Raebiger – the second short-handed – put them on top 3-0.
The Hatters answered with a three-goal run of their own. Darius Graziani connected on a power play goal, and then it was Nemchinov scoring back-to-back goals to even the score 3-3.
The Trojans had the upper hand in the second period. Benjamin Raebiger’s unassisted goal was followed by a power play goal from Victor Wilkins, knotting the score at four apiece. Benjamin Raebiger and Honeycut each scored a goal to send the Trojans into the final period with a 6-4 lead, setting the stage for the wild ending.
The Hatters held a decisive 47-17 advantage in shots, an advantage that was negated by the 39-save effort in goal of Fletcher Lynch. Eric Miller earned the win in goal for the Hatters.

WISSAHICKON 5, ABINGTON 1
The Trojans took a tenuous 1-0 lead into the third period but used a four-goal outburst to earn the decisive win.
Joseph Gambino IV used a Logan Honeycutt assist to put the Trojans on the board with 6:43 remaining in the opening period. That 1-0 lead stood until the third period.
Abington’s Moses Garcia (Jamison Donofry assist) scored the tying goal just over a minute into the final period. Three-minutes later, Logan Dicus scored a power play goal with assists from Aiden Brooks and Gambino to give the Trojans a lead they would not lose.
Just over a minute later Benjamin Raebiger found the net on an unassisted power play goal, and then it was Logan Honeycutt scoring back-to-back goals for the 5-1 final – the first with assists from Dicus and Gambino and the second with assists from Benjamin Raebiger and Aiden Brooks.
Fletcher Lynch earned the win in goal for the Trojans, turning away 21 of 22 shots he faced in a strong outing. Abington’s Matthew Evangelist kept the Ghosts in it with a 50-save effort that included 34 saves on 35 shots through two periods.

Shutouts are not easy to come by in ice hockey, but the Knights managed back-to-back shutouts last week.
Twenty-four hours before Aidan Quigley posted a shutout in a win over Pennridge, his teammate – Andrew Norton – did the same thing against Neshaminy, turning away all 16 shots he faced.
The Knights scored the only goal Norton would need when James Boyle connected on a power play goal three-and-a-half minutes into the game. Samuel Norton and Cole Pluck had the assists. Goals by Derek Lugara (Declan Leahy/Boyle assists) and Nolan Shingle (Danial Cabrales/Pluck assists) sent the Knights into the second period with a 3-0 lead.
A short-handed goal by Leahy (Boyle assist) late in the second period made it a 4-0 game heading into the final period when Gabriel Dunn also connected on a short-handed goal, using a Shingle assist.
The Knights held a 39-16 advantage in shots, but Neshaminy goalie Colin Thurnau’s 34-save effort kept the ‘Skins within striking distance.

Shane Hicks had a hand in five goals, scoring a hat trick and assisting on a pair of goals. His five-point night led the Falcons, who also received a four-point game from Jacob Sarver (3g, 1a). Brendan Milliken also played a starring role in the win, turning away 26 of 30 shots in a contest that saw the Indians hold a 30-19 advantage in shots.
In the opening period, Pennsbury sandwiched goals by Kevin DeRosa (Hicks assist) and Sarver (Jason Fowler assist) around an unassisted goal by Rock North’s Ivan Bondra.
The Falcons owned the second period, scoring three unanswered goals with a pair by Hicks and a goal by Sarver to go into the final period with a 5-1 lead.
Bondra scored an early goal to trim that lead to 5-2, but Pennsbury’s Sarver and Hicks answered with back-to-back goals to put the Falcons on top 7-2. Michael Telegin’s short-handed goal with a Brodyn Capaldi assist made it a 7-3 game, but Francis DeLucia answered with a goal for the Falcons, using assists from Max Dous and DeRosa. An unassisted goal by Rock North’s Jackson Accardi closed out the scoring.

Shane Dachowski and Landan Bishop both had five-point games to lead a potent Ram attack in its win over the Bucks last Wednesday. Dachowski had two goals and three assists while Bishop had three goals and two assists.
Bishop turned a Dachowski pass into an early goal, and then it was Nolan Shaw scoring with assists from Salvatore Daquino and Ryan Burke to spot the Rams a 2-0 lead. The Bucks cut that lead in half when Zane Sanders scored with an assist from Anthony Dowd, but goals by Bishop and Dachowski sent the Rams into the second period with a 4-1 advantage.
In the second period, the Rams received one goal each from Bishop, Ryan Burke, Dean Venner and Kaden Gunning to go on top 8-1. Third-period goals by Dachowski and James Embert closed out the scoring.
Jacob Winton recorded the win in goal, turning away 22 of 23 shots.
