QUAKERTOWN 8, SPRINGFIELD 1
Connor Ellmore scored three goals and assisted on two more in a five-point night to lead the Panthers to the convincing win.
Ellmore found the net for the only goal in the first period, scoring with a Jack Diliberto assist two-and-a-half minutes into the contest.
Three goals in the second period – one each from William Shaw (Ellmore assist), Branden McNally (Ellmore/Braden Bishop assists) and Ellmore (William Shaw assist) - put the Panthers on top 4-0 heading into the final period.
That lead grew to 6-0 after goals by Cole Slemmer (Randy Rhodomoyer assist) and Ellmore (McNally assist) before Marcel Camper scored with three-and-a-half minutes remaining, using assists from Tyrel DeFreitas and Jack Sarsfield. Kiera Shaw answered with a goal less than a minute later with an assist from Diliberto. William Shaw (Corbin Cassel) scored with two minutes remaining to close out the scoring.
Matthew Krem notched the win in goal for the Panthers, turning away 11 of 12 shots he faced.

PLYMOUTH WHITEMARSH 7, WILLIAM TENNENT/HATBORO-HORSHAM 2
Matthew Flynn and David Branigan both had a hand in five goals, leading the Colonials to the non-league win. Flynn scored four goals and assisted on another while Branigan assisted on four and scored a single goal.
Thomas Neeld (Darius Graziani assist) scored to spot Tennent/HH a 1-0 lead six minutes into last Friday’s contest. Less than two minutes later, Flynn evened the score with a Branigan assist. Three minutes later, the duo teamed up for a goal that gave PW a lead it would not lose. A goal by Jeffrey Mencken (Jacob Elgart//Isaac Mishkin assists) gave the Colonials a 3-1 lead after one period.
In the second period, PW opened up a 5-1 lead after goals by Timothy Murphy (Jeffrey Mencken assist) and Flynn (Branigan/Dylan Novitski assists). Walter Wolaniuk’s power play goal made it a 5-2 game heading into the final period.
The Colonials added a pair of goals in the third period with Branigan scoring with a Flynn assist and then Branigan returned the favor, assisting on a Flynn goal.
Christopher Maslij (24 saves) and Julian Lucks (13 saves) combined for the win in goal for PW.

NESHAMINY 3, CENTRAL BUCKS WEST 2 (OT)
Max Gallagher brought an early end to overtime, scoring with assists from Nolan Geria and JJ Hathaway 50 seconds into the extra period to give the Redskins the dramatic win over a pesky West squad.
Keeping the Bucks in the game was goalie Liam Rogers, who turned away 48 of 51 shots to effectively negate Neshaminy’s 51-23 advantage in shots.
Early on, Neshaminy took a 1-0 lead when Geria scored with assists from Gallagher and Daniel McColgan in the final minute of the opening period. The Redskins fired 15 shots at Rogers in the second period but could not get one past him, and they took their tenuous 1-0 lead into the third period.
Seven seconds into the period, Gallagher scored with an assist from Geria only to watch the Bucks come roaring back. Adam Ricci’s power play goal with an assist from John Cherubini 9:46 into the period made it a 2-1 game, and five minutes later, Jack Misoda found the net, using assists from Zane Sanders and Brandon March and setting the stage for overtime.
Neshaminy’s Aidan Hullings earned the win in goal, turning away 21 of 23 shots.

The Trojans – battling for an SHSHL playoff spot – beat the American Conference’s top squad in dramatic fashion when Danny Hussa scored an unassisted goal 27 seconds into overtime.
Earlier, Will Hussa gave the Trojans a 1-0 lead, scoring 2:51 into the game with an assist from Hudson Honeycutt. The Ghosts evened the score 13 minutes later when Matthew Kramer scored an unassisted goal.
Abington took a 2-1 lead when Ian Heydt (Sam Abramson/Brian Murdoch assists) scored 4:44 into the second period. Late in the period, John Kulner evened the score with a goal that was assisted by Nolan Pounds and Danny Hussa.
Neither team scored again until Hussa’s game-winner in OT.
Wissahickon goalie Fletcher Lynch turned away 22 of 24 shots he faced in a winning effort in goal.

The Falcons notched the win in a tightly contested game at Hatfield Ice between a pair of teams battling for playoff position.
Ryan Frey put the Titans on the board five minutes into the game, scoring an unassisted power play goal. Pennsbury’s Justin Marlin answered with a goal in the closing minutes of the period.
The Falcons broke the 1-1 tie when Logan Doyle scored on a penalty shot midway through the second period. They led 3-1 after Andrew Falkenstein scored with a Brendan Macainsh assist. South’s Aidan Linso turned a pass from Keith Waldron into a goal, and it was a 3-2 game heading into the final period.
Macainsh scored with assists from Marlin and Foyle three minutes into the third period. South made it a 4-3 game after a goal by DJ Lindenmuth (Aydin Thierolf assist). Marlin’s unassisted goal in the closing seconds gave the Patriots their final margin of victory.
Pennsbury goalie Aaron McDaniel was credited with 26 saves in a winning effort in goal.

Jeremy Rayher spent Thursday’s game setting up his teammates, finishing with four assists and one goal. His five-point game led the Golden Hawks, who also received three goals and an assist from Jake Weiner.
It was Weiner putting the Hawks on the board just 18 seconds into the opening period, using a Rayher assist. Before the game was a minute old, the Hawks led 2-0 after Rayher scored with a Kevin Koles assist. That lead grew to 3-0 after a goal by Koles (Shaun Epstein/Luke Ralston assists) before the Knights got on the board with a goal by Nolan Shingle (Cole Pluck assist).
The Hawks led 5-1 after one period, thanks to goals from Bobby Gilbert and Jonah Weston (Chase Tovsky assist).
The second period belonged to the Knights, who reeled off three straight goals. Sam Mostochuck scored on a power play with an assist from John Stinson, and then it was Shingle scoring with assists from Matthew Yothers and James Boyle. Joseph Silvotti’s power play goal with a Pluck assist pulled the Knights within one, 5-4.
The Golden Hawks had an answer, scoring three goals in the third period. Weiner scored 5:23 into the period with assists from Rayher and Evan Mostoller, and a minute later, Illia Mukhin scored with assists from Rayher and Weiner. Weiner’s power play goal closed out the scoring with assists from Rayher and Mukhin.

Jimmy Cortez and Thomas Neeld both had five-point games to lead Tennent/Hatboro-Horsham to the no-doubt-about-it win. Cortez scored a pair of goals and assisted on three others while Neeld had one goal and four helpers. Alex Tsikoudis also had a big night, connecting for a hat trick and one assist in a four-point game.
Nathan Nemchinov (Neeld/Tsikoudis assists) scored 1:56 into the game, setting the stage for four straight goals in the period. Tsikoudis (Quinn Morena assist), Darius Graziani (Nemchinov assist) and Frank Rosenberry (Tre Gyer/Cortez assists) each added a goal to put Tennent/HH on top 4-0.
The Panthers upped their lead to 5-0 after a goal by Domenick Pedone (Daniel Livingston assist) five minutes into the second period before Springfield got on the board with a goal from Gabriel Wells (Grayson Quinn assist). The Panthers closed out the second period with goals by Neeld (Frank Rosenberry) and Cortez (Travis Ribikauskas assist) to go into the final period with a 7-1 lead.
The Panthers closed out the game with four straight third-period goals – two by Tsikoudis with assists from Ribkauskas/Cortez on the first and Graziani and Neeld on the second. Graziani (Cortez/Neeld assists) and Tsikoudis (Neeld assist) each added a goal. Tsikoudis goal was a short-handed goal.

David ‘DJ’ Brown’s power play goal with just over three minutes remaining broke a 3-3 tie and held as the game-winner, giving the Patriots the win in Wednesday’s thriller.
The game was tightly contested from the outset. Karson Grainey’s goal with a Noah Epstein assist gave the Indians a 1-0 lead two minutes into the game. Midway through the first, Kyle McIntyre found the net on a power play goal, using assists from Kosick and Jaden Young. Kosick’s unassisted goal gave the Patriots a 2-1 lead with a minute remaining in the period.
The Indians evened the score a minute into the second period when Ryan Keil scored a power play goal with a Grainey assist. Charlie Kreiser (McIntyre assist) put the Patriots on top 5:48 into the period, but with just over three minutes remaining in the period, Grainey scored the equalizer, using a Zach Weissman assist. That 2-2 tie stood until Brown’s game-winner late in the third period.
Matt Mangiacapre turned away 18 shots in a winning effort in goal for the Patriots. Rock North’s Ian Goldberg stopped 35 shots in a contest that saw the Patriots hold a 39-21 advantage in shots.
