Upper Merion 5, Cheltenham 3

Upper Merion plated three runs in the sixth inning to go on top 5-2 and take control of its game with Cheltenham. Joe Bry paced the Vikings’ attack with a perfect 3-for-3 day at the plate, which included a triple, 1 RBI and two stolen bases).
Viking leadoff batter Ryan Dolga had a pair of hits, two RBIs and two runs scored. Teammate John Gonoude also had a pair of hits, including a double.
The Panthers were led by the three-hit effort of Matt Brown, which included a double. Anthony Caringi had a pair of hits, including a triple.
Ben Dworecki picked up the win on the mound, allowing 10 hits and two earned runs while striking out eight and walking two. Caringi absorbed the loss.
