Upper Merion 5, Cheltenham 3

Upper Merion plated three runs in the sixth inning to go on top 5-2 and take control of its game with Cheltenham. Joe Bry paced the Vikings’ attack with a perfect 3-for-3 day at the plate, which included a triple, 1 RBI and two stolen bases).
Viking leadoff batter Ryan Dolga had a pair of hits, two RBIs and two runs scored. Teammate John Gonoude also had a pair of hits, including a double.
The Panthers were led by the three-hit effort of Matt Brown, which included a double. Anthony Caringi had a pair of hits, including a triple.
Ben Dworecki picked up the win on the mound, allowing 10 hits and two earned runs while striking out eight and walking two. Caringi absorbed the loss.

Pitcher Dean Kenniff took a no-hitter into the seventh inning when he allowed an infield single and a two-run RBI double.  Austin Tarpey came in from the bullpen and recorded the final three outs.
 
Offensively, Peter Edgar led the Knights with a pair of hits, an RBI and one run scored. Brandon Martinez had a double and two RBIs. Ryan King contributed a double and an RBI. Jimmy Smith and Brandon Costa each had a hit and an RBI.
